A 30x24x36-inch enclosure can work if set up properly, but a more standard 36x18x18 or 48x24x18 might be better suited for a ball python’s terrestrial nature.

Would this work for a full grown male hog Island boa?

This item would work nicely for a juvenile Hog Island Boa, but would not be suited for an adult. We would recommend our 60” Mojave Reptile Lounge for an adult Hog Island Boa.

This habitat is incredibly easy to assemble. Glass doors slide easily and the door lock is simple but effective. Depending on what you are feeding, smaller crickets and bugs can escape through the ventilation slots on the sides. I would suggest putting some screen mesh over the vents. I needed very high humidity, so I covered the side vents with pieces of the packaging Styrofoam. Besides the small issue with the side vents, I wish they made a larger version of this cage / habitat. Maybe a 4x2x4. All things considered, I would give it 4.5 stars.
