Fresh wholesome ingredients.
Having three dogs and each one with special needs, I did my research. I have found that nature's recipe was an excellent choice for all three dogs I was looking
Having three dogs and each one with special needs, I did my research. I have found that nature's recipe was an excellent choice for all three dogs I was looking for a product that was natural and had benefits for my senior Pitbull who has IBD and a very sensitive stomach. I was looking for a product that would be wholesome grain-free and would benefit him. The ingredients in this nature's recipe canned dog food is chicken, chicken broth, chicken liver, sweet potato apples and pumpkin to name a few. I love the fact that it is a chicken sweet potato and pumpkin recipe. Pumpkin is a great source of fiber which keeps his IBD in check. He loves the taste and it encourages him to eat his dry along with it. I would highly recommend it!
No added sugar dog food!

I have two dogs. One of which is a senior mutt that can eat anything she wants due to no health or medical issues. The other is also older but is a husky mix that was recently diagnosed with diabetes. So many dog foods and snacks have added sugar, but these do not! the ingredient list is fantastic compared to other brands of wet food. Both seem to really enjoy these foods!
Nature's Recipe Smells great & THEY LIKE IT!
While my dogs (Labrador Retrievers) love having this added as a topper to their regular kibble, I don't think I'd use it as their base food for two reasons. 1)
While my dogs (Labrador Retrievers) love having this added as a topper to their regular kibble, I don't think I'd use it as their base food for two reasons. 1) it's grain free and the health risks are too high to have a grain free diet. and 2) I like them to have something really crunchy to help keep their teeth clean. The food smells good... My French Bulldogs also like it as a food topper. I also use it in the KONG toys and freeze for an extra special treat.
Enticing Pate
My dogs don't usually get wet food, but my 11 year old Pyrenees is starting to slow down on eating, so I was hoping it would entice her. This one seemed like a decent
My dogs don't usually get wet food, but my 11 year old Pyrenees is starting to slow down on eating, so I was hoping it would entice her. This one seemed like a decent one to give a try. The consistency is a nice, fluffy pate with chunks of things like carrots mixed in. There wasn't a lot of extra "jelly" in the can, which was nice. She ate it and the rest of her food in a matter of minutes.

Good overall food in my opinion. I prefer a food where you can see the pieces of the meat and veggies. With this one you do see the sweet potato but the rest is

With this one you do see the sweet potato but the rest is more of a pate (which is how it is described in the label). However, it is great for lick mats. My pup seemed to thoroughly enjoy the food. Licked the mat clean.

I started feeding this to Walden to get medicine into him. I gave some to Kallie also and she loves it. Walden is a Corgi and will eat anything except medicine

Kallie is a maltipoo and has never enjoyed her dry food. Now I cut back their dry food by one third and mix in a spoon full of this canned food and Kallie looks forward to her meals. They both love it.

They got this one instead of the regular dry food, but after giving a pack of this to my dog, I could not give it to her. She loves it so it’s like a topper. She gets a third of a can.
Healthy and delicious
I like to add canned dog food to my dog’s kibble. She is a 5 year old very active German Shepherd Dog. She can be fussy but she loved this food. I am very fussy

I am very fussy about ingredients and I was really pleased with the healthy ingredients and that it was grain free. I also used this Nature’s Recipe canned food to make freezer treats for my dog. I fill up different puzzle treat dispensers with the food and top with cream cheese or peanut butter and put them in the freezer and then give to my dog to keep her busy on rainy days or when I have to go out. She loves them and this food worked great for that! Both my dog and I were very happy with this food and we both give it a big thumbs (paws) up!!
