I love that Chewy's website puts the country of origin on their dog food products. So in addition to Nature's Logic being Made in the USA, the country of origin is also the USA. After almost losing my dog Chewie (right) to contaminated Chinese chicken jerky, I only buy products that I can confirm are both Made in USA and country of origin USA. Nature's Logic satisfies both of these requirements for me. Dingo and Chewie love Nature's Logic sardine recipe plus their lamb recipe. I recently bought Nature's Logic chicken recipe and the beef recipe, but have not fed those yet. Chewy's gives me super fast service on my orders, too. My little heeler Chewie loves Chewy's and Nature's Logic as do I and her brother, Dingo.

Having reviewed many other foods on the market, this is the only food, other than raw or homemade, that has the ingredients I will feed my 3 dogs and 1 cat. This is human grade food, made from all natural real food, guaranteed probiotics and high quality protein. I feed the minimum recommended requirements and my pets are not overweight. Before feeding NL, to keep them satisfied they put on too much weight. I have been feeding NL of 3 years, rotating protein every 2 or 3 bags. They have a yearly vet visit for blood work, otherwise are very healthy and no itchy skin. NL please don't change a thing.

While this food appealed to my dog and gave him no digestive or other issues, it came with a large percentage of crushed and crumbled pieces, which were difficult to measure and left a huge amount of meal at the bottom of the container. This photo is about 2/3 of a cup of food. I have honestly (in 40+ years of dog ownership) never seen a dog food in that condition. It made me question how old the bag was, how it was processed and from where it actually originated. I will not order it again for that reason - messy to work with!

My 4yr old chihuahua Peanut is a picky eater when it comes to dry food! (My 3yr old chi-mix Louie will eat anything and be fine.) The kibble has to be small but not too small, due to it falling out of his mouth. Some small kibble is to hard to bite and same issues arise. He also has a very sensitive stomach and has been to the vet more than a few times with tummy trouble. He was on Holistic Select (small breed anchovy sardine chicken meal) for a few years before the switch. The holistic seemed fine, until I switched and noticed much less gas and tummy issues. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is at the bottom of the bag there’s usually a lot of crushed kibble but I can live with that People always ask how do I get his coat to look so shiny and soft! Hopefully they don’t decide to change the ingredients as my little pup loves this stuff!

The dogs love it!!!! I've gotten to the bottom of the bag and I have measured 1-1/3 cup (5.7 oz/161g) of food dust. This doesn't include the amount I've thrown away during the use of the bag. I've been buying sardine feast for at least a year or 2 now, and the amount of dust seems to get worse with every bag.

Put on this diet b/c it is free of peas. Too early to tell if the sardines is going to work with what I think is a food allergy, however Nature's Logic overall (he had been eating the beef0 has been well receive (he eats it without hesitation), and his coat is so healthy and shiny, receiving a lot of attention and remarks from people. I cannot say enough positive things about ordering from CHEWY. Such a great alternative to finding hard to find foods.

My dog is diabetic this year. He was on prescription food I wasn’t happy with. I was recommended this food, and I could not be more pleased! He loves it, quality ingredients and I questioned the alfalfa in it due to recent concerns about legumes, and received an prompt and impressive reply. Answered my question with great detail! My dog’s blood glucose is stabilizing already (still in transition phase). He is much happier too! That means I am too!

Only the best for my pups!

I've been searching forever for a food that I feel good about feeding my dogs. I came across Nature's Logic after reading a blog from one of my favorite raw feeding accounts. She recommended nature's logic for those looking to feed dry kibble. One of my dogs has sensitive stomach but is also overweight so I chose this one because of it's calories and because my dog does best on fish. He's been loving it so much! When we adopted my other dog, a cattle dog, she's also been loving this food! I've also been mixing the rabbit kibble with this and they go crazy for it!

Sad day- formula change!

I have been feeding my pup Nature's Logic for almost his entire life (he's 7) and have loved this brand so much and put so much trust into it.. I rotate through

I have been feeding my pup Nature's Logic for almost his entire life (he's 7) and have loved this brand so much and put so much trust into it.. I rotate through their proteins, so it's been a few months since I've had the sardine meal in our house. The moment I opened the bag I knew something was off, where it usually smells life fish, now it smells like chemicals. I gave it a chance regardless and this morning my pup had his first poop on the protein and it was huge dark and so mushy.. where he usually has very healthy poops.. I went online to research and make sure there hasn't been a recall and sure enough I find out that they've done a formula change :(. Clearly not for the better, I'm hoping that this is the only protein that is affected, I'm throwing out this whole bag and getting a different protein.. hoping I don't have to find an entire new brand, but it's seeming that I may need to.

Low in Copper-Dramatic increase in liver function!

Our black lab mix is 14 and has had abnormally high liver levels for years. A couple of years ago we started him on Denamarin, which has definitely helped with those levels but they were still not great. Last year a vet we talked to told us that labradors (and other breeds) are often prone to liver disease, and that excess copper in the diet can exacerbate that in some cases. Anyway, this vet OF COURSE suggested the super-pricey hepatic dog food sold in-house, but I wasn't very pleased with the ingredients (rice was the first ingredient!). I went home and examined our dog food, and swiftly realized that it had copper sulfate ADDED to it! And further research revealed that almost ALL dog food has copper added to it. I searched and searched for brands that don't add vitamin supplements, and finally found Nature's Logic. On their company website they break down the mineral content of their foods, and Sardine Feast is by far the lowest in copper...it's actually lower than the hepatic food the vet was selling. Also, it's a little less expensive than the vet prescription brand. Today we had Felix's blood work done and found that his ALP had decreased by 38% and his ALT by 27%. This is very significant. His liver levels are still "high" but not dangerously so, and they are now around what they were two years ago. This is awesome! He's going to stay on Denamarin and Sardine Feast for the rest of his days, which hopefully will be very many :)
