Is this Nature's Logic Distinction?

No, per Nature’s Logic website, the Distinction line is only sold at specialty pet food stores. In my small town, it’s sold in a pet food boutique type store. Ingredients in this “Original” line and “Distinction” are different.

What country is natures logic produced and are all their ingredients also procured in the same country

This food is manufactured in the USA. Nature’s Logic selects vendors that can supply ingredients from the USA and other countries with good food safety practices, such as New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Europe. They also require their vendors can guarantee that the ingredients do not come from China, and that they contain no chemical preservatives, herbicides, or insecticides.

How many cups come per bag?

There will be approximately 4 cups per pound of kibble. The 4.4 pound bag will have close to 17 cups, the 15.4 pound bag close to 61 cups and the 26.4 pound bag close to 105 cups.

Do you test your foods for mycotoxins?

Nature’s Logic tests every batch of food to ensure that it meets their specifications. In addition, the ingredients and finished foods are tested to ensure there are no harmful bacteria, like Salmonella or E. coli. They also test for potential rancidity, aflatoxins, and vomitoxins. The company has also done random testing for fluoride.

After tons of research I decided on Nature's Logic. It was a great choice.

I own 4 active Labrador Retrievers, ranging in age from 4 months to 4 years. Labs are one of many breeds that are genetically prone to copper storage problems, so I set out to find a food with no copper sulfate added. This proved to be a hard task, especially since the vast majority of dog food companies don't provide copper content information on their recipes. This is what ultimately sold me on Nature's Logic. I felt comfortable knowing this recipe had absolutely no added/artificial minerals, as well as containing a low level of naturally derived copper. I have fed various Purina ProPlan recipes, Hills Science Diet, and Royal Canin in the past. My dogs have been on Nature's Logic recipe for 4 months. One is prone to mild (but nonetheless annoying) itchy skin and yeasty ears. After 2 months on Nature's Logic, she no longer suffers from itchiness and her coat is the thickest and most beautiful it's ever been. As far as stools go, none of them experienced a single day of "the runs" after switching to this brand. Compared to Purina ProPlan 30/20, they seem to eat less, maintain weight, crap less, and are more "solid". Win-win! The only criticisms I have are that I wish the kibbles came in a larger size, and I wish it came in a 45-lb bag. It is also quite expensive, but it doesn't cost significantly more than any other quality brand, so the price isn't a huge deterrent. Overall I am thrilled with this find, and plan to rotate through their non-grain-free recipes in the future.

I have 4 giant dogs and all 4 with different needs, wheather be dry skin or needs to maintain weight or a sensitive digestion system or one that seemed to have the runs on every food I've fed. I've tried so so many top premium foods and always something was off with one or more of my dogs, specially having bad stools. Than I found natures logic on this website and in desperation I was willing to try anything. Finally I've hit a home run!!! I had no problems with the switch and all 4 of my giants, 2 mastiff's and 2 Great Danes, are all on the same food for maybe the first time ever and doing wonderful. Shocking specially for my one Great Dane that has a super sensitive digestion system n has had the runny stool on everything! He, along with my other 3, all have wonderful stool which for any dog owner is a great thing but specially with the clean up after these 4 boys. Also a huge factor ofcorse is they all love it!! I've tried a few bags of the beef and afew of the chicken and had no problem with completly switching between the two cold turkey but they deffinatly like the chicken best. All have beautiful coats, maintaining their weight well, and prefect stools! I'm so pleased to finally have them all on the same food and to all be doing so wonderful on it, that says a lot about the food right there. Love the philosophy of the company also. Oh and I will mention it does have very small kibble which I believe a lot of the high premium foods seem to but even with my giants, one 180 pounds, 160, 150 and a baby at 160 and much growing to do, they do great with the small kibble with no problems. They almost seem to chew better with the smaller kibble which seems odd but they do. I would highly reccomend this food for anyone.

Sold to Mid America Pet Food

My dog thrived before they changed the way they prepare this dog food. She began getting sick after the change. The recipe stayed the same but it is noticeable cooked different and doesn’t have a fresh smell anymore. After 1 year of poor communication with “Natures Logic” they offered me no answers and essentially ignored me, trying to bribe me with free bags of food. I have pictures of the old food “lighter color” VS the new food “burnt/overcooked”. Used to be a great brand ruined by corporation.

A few weeks ago, I received some new food to try out from Nature's Logic®! Nature’s Logic® sent me their “Canine Chicken Meal Feast Dry Dog Food”, which is actually made with real chicken and minimally processed whole foods! This food is also 100% natural, which makes in rich in protein and low in natural sugars! Something really interesting about Nature’s Logic Canine Chicken Meal Feast is that it is formulated to provide complete and balanced nutrition for all life stages, as well as all breeds! As with any new food, my pawrents introduced me to this kibble gradually and even though the kibble size was a lot smaller than what I am used to, I loved it! This dog food has been apart of my daily diet for over three weeks now, and I am happy to report that I have been enjoying it without any issues or complications! Honestly, there is really nothing bad my pawrents and I can say about this tasty chicken kibble, so if you’re thinking about having your pup try some new food, all of us would definitely recommend trying out Nature’s Logic® Canine Chicken Meal Feast Dry Dog Food! I am pleased with Nature’s Logic Chicken Meal because my dog has not experience any adverse side effects and it contains grains. I transitioned him very slowly over a month from his last dog food. The price is on the high end which is why I marked it down also the kibble is slightly greenish colored perhaps from all the veggies. I have a 1 year old boxer mixed puppy who was gaining weight on science diet despite following strict feeding guidelines so I felt we needed higher protein. The kibble bits are very small which helps my dog chew since he has a cross bite and some difficulty chewing the big hard pellets from other adult foods. He is a picky eater and doesn’t have any qualms about eating this food. Would buy again but am looking for a similar high protein dog food with lower cost that isn’t grain-free.

Great so far!

We transitioned from the Blue Buffalo grain free food. We mixed 50/50 for the transition. They did have diarrhea for a couple of days but it eventually went away

We transitioned from the Blue Buffalo grain free food. We mixed 50/50 for the transition. They did have diarrhea for a couple of days but it eventually went away. Our three dogs have pretty sensitive tummies so I figured it would happen. It’s been 4 months since they have been on this food and they love it. Their coats are VERY soft and shiny. Our youngest dog, Goose, had flaky skin and red rashes on his belly.. We had just recently moved from AZ to TX so I wasn’t sure if it was the Blue Buffalo food or if it was something in our area causing the issue. It was definitely the old food causing the issues because after being on Nature’s Logic both the dry skin and rashes went away. It is pricey but it’s been worth it! Happy doggies, happy momma!

I like so many are very fussy about ingredients. I had my dog on a grain free dog food, due to heart issues some dogs were experiencing on grain free food. I decided to switch.(I know there was probably a very low risk that something may happen to him, but if it did, I would have not forgiven myself). We tried numerous grain foods, had constant diarrhea...a grain issue, thanks goodness for pro-pectalin, which I also get from Chewy. It's great to have this on hand. I tried Logic Chicken and Wow, diarrhea starting to clear first day without the need of the pro-pectalin! He been on it since and like.other people say HE LOVES IT! He is a lean 97# gets 1 cup 3x daily. He's active, feels good and will be 9 years old 5/2022. As far as the price Chewy is the best, pet stores around me are $10-15 more ($$ amt. depends if you get auto-ship) then Chewy...and I don't have to go get it!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing, I recently adopted a dog and wanted to change her food to a more natural “healthier” kibble. I came across this brand in store and it looked promising- I purchased the 4lb bag to make sure she liked it as well as wean her off her other food and she immediately had diarrhea. I took her to the vet thinking she caught something from the humane society and they had to give her fluids and put her on a temporary wet food only diet because the vet didn’t know what was wrong- $250 later, they figured she got into something and it had upset her stomach. Days passed and she was FINALLY all better so I give her kibble again, shortly after eating she explodes ALL over her dog bed and crate. I finally looked online and discovered that this brand is NOTORIOUS for causing dogs to have diarrhea due to corporation and recipe changes. Save your money, and your time and buy something else. Luckily, chewys customer service is outstanding and I was issued a refund.

My friend feeds this food. I was at her home with my show dog getting ready to go to a dog show. Sofi loved the food and would try and steal all her dogs food. She loved it so much that I decided to feed it to several of my dogs. I am very impressed that it does not contain grain peas and potatoes. I am feeding it to my Chinese Crested that has allergy causing yeast infections. My dogs love the food they quickly clean their bowls and never any wasted food. I was also pleased to read that the food contains probiotics. Their stools are formed small and have much less odor.

After feeding several different brands of high end dry food, I believe we have finally found the winner. Three small dogs in great shape, no itching, and eagerly eating every bite. We have tried liver and beef but chicken seems to be the favorite. Like to rotate about every two bags and can do without any upsets. High quality protein in the right amount and all other ingredients from natural sources. Can't beat Mr. Chewy for great customer service and prompt shipping. When our pets, cat also, are happy and healthy so are we.
