My dogs name is Vinny and he’s currently 4 years old. He has been on different kinds of dog foods since he was a puppy. Blue Buffalo, Nutro, Whole Hearted. We learned a lot of negative things about blue Buffalo so we immediately stopped it. He developed really bad allergies on Nutro. People always said it was the food to put Him on grain free. So that’s what we did. Salmon and pea diet. He was on that for about 2 years.... Vinny had to get his teeth cleaned and the vet asked me if he was on a grain free diet, and I was confused as to why cause I thought that was the best for them? That’s when he told me it seems that grain free foods are leading to DCM in dogs. My heart dropped. I was so worried. I immediately stopped it, cooked him homemade meals for a good solid month while I did research for my next food. I was constantly looking at ingredients, how much fat, protein, carbohydrates, reviews, and all that had grain. I could not find any. Because they all had bad ingredients. Until I found Natures Logic, he’s been on this food for a good year now. The best part is Vinny doesn’t just sniff it and walk away. As I am putting his food bowl down he is running, dancing, howling. Just for the food. And it’s like that every single time, and it just makes me happy. I also mix his food with a little bit of water. I enjoy how many flavors they have as well, and so does Vinny! He hasn’t had any diarrhea, nothing to lead me to believe the food is trash, cause his opinion is the only one that matters.

Just started a bag of this and I'm really grossed out. I mix my dog's kibble with water or goat's milk (for extra hydration) and noticed what looks like hairs or bug legs floating in the liquid. I checked the kibble and saw lots of those bits baked into the food. My bigger dog threw up twice today. I don't know if it's a coincidence or because of the food. I'm in Costa Rica and brought it with me so I can't return/exchange. I would really like to know what this stuff is. Never going to buy this brand again unless they can explain. The food is highly recommended on dog review websites but this doesn't seem right.

Excellent Nutrition! - but she doesn't like it

This food hits ALL the nutrition points and ingredients I'm looking for. After losing a 5 year old pittie mix to DCM, (enlarged heart) I've done extensive research in what to give my new puppy and what ingredients I absolutely will not, WILL NOT ever allow our Baby to eat. Nature's Logic has none of those evil ingredients! That said, she does not like this flavor, nor the rabbit or pork. I'm going to try the turkey. Please do not take her dislike of this food as any indication. This rescue puppy, and her brother from what I've heard, are SUPER PICKY! She won't even eat peanut butter, bacon, or cheese! This food is expensive, but do were Bear's heart medications. This is the BEST food for your dog! I hope your doggie loves it.

Switched to Nature's Logic Beef to try something different for our Shitzhus. They have been on Natural Balance Lamb and Rice for over 2 years, and seem to have begun to have allergies with it. We searched for a product with the least additives. Looks like we have found it. We chose the Beef to have a change from Lamb. We soak half the kibbles between each meal to give a nice tasty broth to mix in. Macy has a very sensitive stomach, and it's been 3 weeks and all seems good with her stools. Spencer is completely fine. The allergy symptoms are gone. Not sure if it was just too long on one meat, Lamb, or the actual brand, as NB is now being processed in a different plant. So, Yes, we recommend Nature's Logic. I love that there are no synthetic vitamins or minerals added. All Natural! Thank you!

This is a huge hit in our home. While Rosie may not very discerning with her foods, Rico tends to be on the picky and walk away from his bowl during meals and drop treats if they aren’t “up to his standard.” Every time we have used Nature’s Logic products in the past, though, that has never been the case, and both dogs race to finish their meals. This beef recipe is no exception, and it’s even tasty enough to be good training treats, too. I can also rest easy with beef being this bag’s first ingredient, and because Nature’s Logic products have added probiotics and enzymes for digestive support, are free of common allergens, and have no added synthetic vitamins or minerals.

Yes it’s expensive but like any organic product you pay for quality and knowing what you’re eating or feeding your pets is the healthiest you can buy. Now saying all that my dogs will not eat the kibble (beef) unless I put wet food mixed in but I am sure that is my fault not theirs . They are spoiled because I spoiled them.Give it a shot if you can afford the food your dog will be eating the best kibble made in my opinion .

My dogs love Nature's Logic!

I have two dogs, one 90 pounds and one 55 pounds. I feed them Nature's Logic Kibble topped with the Nature's Logic canned. Before using the Nature's Logic I bought a number of other brands of canned food. Some were too dry and others were watery and looked like they had pieces of fat mixed in. All of them smelled horrible. The Nature's Logic has a smooth, moist consistency and a pleasant smell. I've purchased all the flavors except for sardine and rabbit. So far they love them all. I also notice their fur is softer and shinier and they produce less excrement and it's well formed.

Jack is allergic to grains, oats, rice, turkey, lamb, duck and peas is off the wall !!! This is the only food I have found that doesn’t have peas in it that he can eat. I researched it thoroughly and it had a 5/5 star rating, the kibble is small, which I love and he loves it too. I feed him the pork, beef and chicken. I used to buy Earthborn Venture but they started adding peas to their food about -2- months ago and we had to change.

Mortified! Hair in food!

My dog recently had dental work, and the vet had commented that they found a lot of hair in his wound area, and asked me if my dog grooms himself a lot. He doesn’t, and that left me a bit perplexed. Just by chance, when doing my routine shopping, I happen to see another customer’s review about this dog food. The person said that they found a lot of hair in the kibble. Since I’ve bought this food for my dogs many times, this caught my attention. I have since inspected the food, and found exactly what this person said. There is hair all throughout the kibble. I’m mortified. Here I was feeding this to my dogs as their main food source, and I’m feeding them hair. This explains why the vet found so much hair caught in my dogs dental wound. It also potentially explains why one of my dogs eats the chicken flavor, but won’t eat the beef flavor. I feel incredibly guilty for feeding this to my dogs. I think this food should be removed from Chewy and taken off the market. I’ve also bought their chicken, flavored food, and since chickens don’t have hair, I don’t expect to find it in that kibble, but now I’m questioning what kind of parts might be in there as well. I’ll be discontinuing purchasing any food made by this brand. I would’ve given zero stars if possible.

We have a very high energy pup - this food was recommended by our animal trainer who feels that the no gluten feature is beneficial for our pup. He loves the food (beef). Has been on it for about 6 weeks now. Bowels show that the food is fully digested, and he has no more problems with digestion, as he did on a grain based food. Like the idea that it's geared for puppy through adult. Do not have to wonder when to change.
