I needed a soft but small treat for obedience and Scentwork training - these are perfect ! I can break in half easily to make tiny rewards or use whole. Fit in pockets

I needed a soft but small treat for obedience and Scentwork training - these are perfect ! I can break in half easily to make tiny rewards or use whole. Fit in pockets or treat bags without leaving a greasy residue - and the Doberman gang loves the salmon flavor. The jar is much nicer than a crinkly bag and the pop top lid makes for easy access.

Our dogs have trained us well. Whenever they go out they get a treat. Whenever we return from a car ride, they get a treat. When we return from a walk, they get a treat. Their lives pretty much revolve around treats. The mini rewards have kind of come to our rescue. They are small enough and have so few calories that we can give them to the girls throughout the day with no worries that they will blimp out on us. They stay happy AND healthy and we stay on the good side of the girls. They love these treats and we love the fact that they are limited ingredient which means our older girl with the intestinal problems can enjoy them too. It’s the perfect balance for them and their human parents.

great for dogs with allergies

My dog is allergic to so many foods that I keep him on salmon. It's not always easy to find treats with salmon instead of chicken or beef, but this one works.

The product is great! Packaging not so much...

This is a great treat from the Natural Balance company, in a wonderful and hard to find tiny size. These mini rewards are fantastic for training and everyday treating dogs, especially small breeds. And even more so for small breed senior dogs with tooth issues who need a soft, yummy, irresistible treat without a lot of unnecessary ingredients. However, I can only give this product 3 stars because the container is not airtight, and the treats started drying out immediately after opening. This might not be an issue for some people, but my senior small dog needs a soft treat, not a hard one. And this product in its container started drying out and hardening immediately after opening. Again, this might not be an issue for most dogs. My suggestion, if you need the treat to stay soft, is to transfer the contents into an airtight container immediately upon opening, because this packaging is not airtight. Otherwise, this really is a great treat. Just very disappointing that a soft treat isn't packaged well at all. Natural Balance is the company at fault here, and should address this issue. Chewy.com is in no way at fault here! Chewy is a fabulous company with great prices, caring customer service, huge selection, and the convenience and ease of ordering can't be beat! I hope Natural Balance will change the way they package this treat so as to preserve the soft texture of the treat. As a premium treat, I was disappointed that Natural Balance didn't give more thought or research into their packaging of this particular treat in order to maintain the soft texture. I am NOT AT ALL disappointed in Chewy for selling it!

These have become our go to training treats. Every flavor is very high value to our dog. They are the perfect blend of brittle and chewy, consumed quickly during walks and easily broken apart into smaller bits with one hand. We bring them on walks and leave them in our magnetic-shut silicone treat pouch, which has gaps & is not air tight, but they don’t seem to dry out too much at all. I am an nd person who has trouble remembering things, so leaving the treats in the treat pouch between walks was really key to us being able to train consistently. Finding something that ticks all those boxes for us has been a HUGE logistical problem for 2 years. LOVE these treats! My only complaint is that there is no option to order them in bulk. I would order them by the pound if I could, and super hate wasting so much plastic with the small containers. Please offer these in much bigger sizes! They are really helping us, thank you!

Finally a perfect salmon training treat!

These treats are perfect for a dog that loves salmon!! I've tried tons from every pet store I've ever set into and a few from Chewy as well, but I couldn't ever

These treats are perfect for a dog that loves salmon!! I've tried tons from every pet store I've ever set into and a few from Chewy as well, but I couldn't ever find one that worked! They all either were too big, gave her digestive issues, or just didn't seem to hold her interest at all. But these are great!! She goes nuts for them, and not only are they already a perfect size, but because they're a little soft I can break them in half for training sessions where there may be a lot of treats to keep the calories low and keep her from getting a little too round :] The search is finally over!!
