Change of Shape and Size without Warning

I've been buying these treats for years and multiple generations of dogs. Why would they change the size and shape without warning? Sure, this new size is smaller

I've been buying these treats for years and multiple generations of dogs. Why would they change the size and shape without warning? Sure, this new size is smaller and therefore less expensive to make, but really? I'd rather have paid more. The previous size and shape is still used with the most recent purchase of the Salmon treats. The original size works great as a stuff treat in a medium size red Kong. It makes the dogs work (crunch the Kong) to get the treat. The new size just falls out. :(

My dog is required to watch her calories and all the treats I tried for a small dog were either too heavy in calories, too large or frankly unappealing to her. She eats the limited ingredient Natural Balance dry and so she really enjoyed their L.I. chicken treats and at 6 calories each, it made things great for her. Now the treats have changed into a different shape, texture, and packaging. I bought them and at 1st bite, she spit them out! I am obviously not a dog and so I can't say why when they claim to be equal in quality ingredients. She knows the difference though, and they are not devoured like the previous cookie, they even look burnt in color. She will now eat them because that's all there is, but the difference is obvious to her. Why change things when they work ??

I've been buying these biscuits for my dog for a few years now. Just recently purchased again, only to find that the company changed the product and not for the good. Biscuits are smaller than they were. They seem much harder, several broken and several over-baked to the point of looking burnt. Will not buy these again and do not recommend them. Will be looking for a new brand of biscuits for my dog.

My 14-year-ol dog Emma has been eating these biscuits for as long as I can remember, and they are her favorites. I should say WERE her favorites. The new formula is hard like a rock, smelly in a bad way, and my poor pup wouldn't even be able to chew them. Natural Balance should be ashamed of taking totally great dog biscuits and turning them into treats I'm tossing in the trash. I will not purchase these again. Em and I will look elsewhere for something yummy for her little tummy.

This is the second time I've tried them, and both times, she has gotten sick. I'll have to throw out the 4 bags I just purchased and look for a different treat. Always burnt/overcooked!

These treats were great for so long and since the change, they are terrible. Change should come with improvements, not worsening. As all of the other 1 star reviewers,

These treats were great for so long and since the change, they are terrible. Change should come with improvements, not worsening. As all of the other 1 star reviewers, I have the exact same complaints. The biscuits are smaller, they are always broken, they are always grossly over cooked to the point of many being burnt. My dog leaves small crumbs of the cookie behind and when I’ve stepped on those pieces they are so hard and sharp that it almost cuts my foot. Terrible changes to this product. Not worth your money.

Today we received our latest order which included 2 14ounce bags of the Natural Balance Rewards Crunchy Biscuits with Real Chicken Dog Treats. I was very disappointed

Today we received our latest order which included 2 14ounce bags of the Natural Balance Rewards Crunchy Biscuits with Real Chicken Dog Treats. I was very disappointed to find that over half of the biscuits were broken and many of them were crumbled in the bottom of the bag. The shipment seemed to have been packed well to minimized movement, so I wonder if the items were damaged prior to shipping.
