Native Pet Omega Oil has been a great addition to Crickets diet. After four months on a fish-based diet with this supplement, her coat has developed a beautiful shine and her skin remains healthy and hydrated. We really appreciate that it is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration, making it easy to store and use. Cricket loves the taste, and it even encourages her to eat kibble she would normally ignore. As an active dog, I am hopeful that continued use will support her joints and overall health. This oil is a high quality, convenient way to support coat, skin, and joint wellness.

I have 2 spoiled Pomeranians, one with a sensitive stomach, one with an aversion to fish. My sensitive boy has dry flaky skin so I thought this would help. He will eat it, but even half a pump every few days will give him diarrhea. Miss Priss says it smells TOO FISHY and now she won’t eat her regular food because this was served on top of it a few times so I must be poisoning her on a daily basis now. Now I can’t use this, AND I have to change the nightly dinner offering. Spoiled pups! It had also leaked in transit and I received an oily smelly box and I had to wash the container before use. The “gripper” was fully intact but the pump hadn’t been completely tightened before the sticker was applied.

I’m always careful about what I give my 1-year-old Golden Retriever, especially since he has a sensitive stomach and is quite active and playful. I came across Native Pet Omega Oil while looking for something clean, safe, and effective to support his skin, coat, and joints, and I’m so glad I gave it a try! What I loved: Shiny Coat: Within 2 weeks, I noticed his coat became softer, shinier, and less flaky. People have actually commented on how great he looks! Less Itching: He used to scratch a bit, especially during season changes, but this oil has really calmed that down. Easy to Use: I just pump it over his evening meal, it smells like fish but not overwhelmingly strong, and he loves the taste. Clean Ingredients: I appreciate that it’s made with wild-caught fish and no weird fillers or artificial additives. That gives me peace of mind as someone who reads labels closely. Joint Support: He runs, jumps, and plays a lot, and I feel like this is helping keep his joints in good shape, especially for a larger breed like a golden.

The packaging arrived well secured. I like the tin packaging with the pump. When I twisted the pump to open it, a bit of the oil leaked out. I see that as a slight issue because it smells like fish. However, I added one pump to my dogs' food (recommended two pumps but that is way too much for the amount of food my dogs get). I mixed it with their dry food, wet food, and two powdered supplements including Native Pet's goat milk. It all mixed up pretty good. One of my dog's was a little hesitant to try the food with the new addition, however, she did end up eating it all. She is the one that has the skin and hair issues so it's important that she likes this oil. There are not a lot of products that claim to address skin, hair and joints so I'm glad to find this product. I thought it would be too smelly, but my dogs did not smell of it after they ate. I would recommend this product.
