We have tried everything on the market to help our little Boston Terrier with his butt glands. For a while, the Advanced Strength Gland Ex supplements seemed to be working but he had terrible gas, even worse than usual for a Boston, if you know, you know, and he still kept expelling his glands randomly, including on my arm, so gross. After trying everything else and passing over this stuff multiple times because it wasn’t in a treat form, I decided to try it. Why not, nothing else is working anyways. We have lost our 2 oldest dogs the last 2 years. When our 2nd passed in december right before Christmas, our remaining, youngest (who was 9 and his older sisters were his whole world) was mourning and didnt want to play or walk or move much (he is a German shorthaired pointer so, if you know the breed you know it doesnt belong in the same sentence as not wanting to move mucb). His glands got so bad we spent 2.5 months back and forth at the vet, they were getting infected and none of the meds were working. I found this and decided it was worth a try because we didn't want to out him through the surgery unless it was absolutely necessary. We used this and after week 1 the vet said she saw a big difference in how much they were seeing come out, by the end of week 2 there was hardly anything and by week 3 it was completely gone. His mood improved too! We have adopted 2 more dogs since then and they are both pittie/staffy mixes which is what our oldest 2 were, and im sure we will need this for them because our girls would start having issues in the winter. I will buy this again and again as needed, it works so well!

I have tried numerous products, but had to take my dog to the vet once a month to express his full glands. About 6 weeks ago, i began putting 2 scoops( he's 70lbs) a day on top of his breakfast. There has been no indication that his glands are bothering him.

After about 6 weeks using this food topper for my lab, he is having more firm bm's, scoots less often, and his booty isn't smelly. I'm planning to have his glands expressed at his next vet visit, but I think this supplement really helps to express them naturally, so I don't anticipate needing to do that again! I started him at 2 scoops with his food/day to get him acclimated (he had some gas for a few days until he got used to it) and he's now having 3 scoops.
