My dog is 15 pounds, should i give her half a scoop instead?

Yes, a half scoop is a great portion size for your 15lb dog. On the back of the supplement, Native Pet recommends a full scoop for every 25lbs a dog weighs

Should I feed the native pet prebiotic/probiotic if I’m already feeding my dog the Daily? My dogs are small, 4 and 15 lbs.

Personally I'd only add Native Pets probiotic formula if absolutely necessary (if you notice upset stomach, vomiting and/or loose stools after eating, for example). Otherwise, The Daily already has pumpkin powder and two shelf stable probiotics added to the formula, which will help support healthy digestion for your dogs

Can this be mixed with a little water and poured over the food instead of adding dry powder?

How much of the scoop do I give my Yorkies? They are 5lbs and 8lbs? Thanks

I love this product. I've been interested in starting her on this since before I knew I was even getting a dog. She is 10, almost 11 (but I adopted her at 9.) and she had started to slow down a little bit. Ever since I started feeding her this in her wet food (half of her serving for her weight each day) with Bernie's, Goat's milk, salmon oil, and bone broth, she has bounced back to an intellegent and active dog. I know this won't work for every dog, but it absolutely works for mine!!

The scent and taste must be irresistible because they dives right in. Just one easy scoop on top of their food! Now, onto the packaging - it comes with a convenient little scooper, although I did find it a bit tricky to get out at first. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the tin has an inner lid to prevent the powder from spilling everywhere. Smart thinking! My only suggestion would be to put the scooper on top inner lid to get it easier the first time, rather than having to dig it out from the powder. Despite that small inconvenience, the results speak for themselves - my dog licks his bowl clean every time! As they get older, I want to ensure they’re getting all the necessary nutrients, and this supplement seems to have all the goodness to keep them healthy and happy!

I was thrown off when the box had the powder all over until I saw a small tear in the bag. I’m not sure if it’s still safe to use although the box was sealed as I have no clue how long this bag would have been opened from it. Hopefully next time this isn’t an issue considering how expensive this is.

Mixed feelings

I love the tin as opposed to more plastic and when you open the lid, there's a tray there with the scoop (yay for not digging around to find it!), and the tray pulls

I love the tin as opposed to more plastic and when you open the lid, there's a tray there with the scoop (yay for not digging around to find it!), and the tray pulls out to reveal the powder. The double seal will be great for traveling and I think this covers 2 of her 3 supplements (joint care and probiotics). It smells like fish, and it's about as strong of a fish smell as her fish oil. However, one issue is about halfway through the container, you are tapping out the powder into the scoop and hoping it doesn't suddenly overflow it, I use the extra tray for this but it's still hit/miss depending how it comes out. Despite this, she was hesitant to try it and eventually did but I can't say she's very excited for this over her food while she is for her regular fish oil (this does not contain nearly enough Omega 3 for her). Which if I need to give her the regular amount of glucosamine she already gets, it's 2 scoops but this package says she needs 4 scoops as she's 85lbs. Given 30 scoops per container, this is only lasting 7.5 days at that rate. Overall, if they concentrated this more so I could do a scoop a day, I'd buy it again, but it's a lot to pack and to get her to eat a day. She prefers her treat supplement, which also takes up less room for what she needs a day, so I'll be sticking to that, a tiny probiotic pill, and still figuring out flying with fish oil. I would purchase this when she was sick as it has extra vitamins and such that I feel would be beneficial.

I’ve noticed more energy since I started giving this multi from one of my pups, I also have a very picky one that has licked the powder off my finger but won’t eat it on her food.Sigh I like that it contains probiotics for digestion, there’s glucosamine and chondroitin for joint support, vitamins as well as cranberry extract, a little bit of everything! My pup has really been liking it. One thing I do wish would be that the lid was easier to open overall I do recommend it and will be telling family and friends about it.
