Check these ingredients carefully

I was excited about receiving these treats for my two dogs thinking that they had healthy ingredients. My fault for not looking at the photo of the actual bag and

I was excited about receiving these treats for my two dogs thinking that they had healthy ingredients. My fault for not looking at the photo of the actual bag and relying on Chewy's description on the website page. When I received them I saw that there are two (unnecessary) artificial colors listed at the end of the ingredient list. I have a very elderly dog with a heart condition and a very young puppy. I have not opened the bag and will not feed these because I am afraid to expose either dog to these two chemicals. The colors are FDA approved but if you look them up online and see the warnings and side effects it makes one pause. These treats could have been colored with Spirulina, Turmeric or another natural vegetable coloring. Using petroleum derived synthetic chemicals seems like a cost saving short cut for the company. I would rather pay a little more for a safer product.

Of course I was right there and took them away immediately so there was no problem, but I would only recommend them for dogs who would sit down and gnaw on them like a bone. And as it says on the package, don't walk away, supervise.

Did not digest - caused vomiting 18 hours later

I gave one of these to my dog at 3:00 PM yesterday, and it was a total disaster. At 9:45 AM today, he threw everything up, and the treat was still completely undigested

I gave one of these to my dog at 3:00 PM yesterday, and it was a total disaster. At 9:45 AM today, he threw everything up, and the treat was still completely undigested. It stayed in his system for almost 19 hours without breaking down at all. I’m very disappointed and worried about the safety of these for large dogs. I will not be buying these again.

We have been buying the 36 count, large treats for about a year. Our 4 dogs love them. However, the bag says there are 36 treats (which is great, divisible by 4),

We have been buying the 36 count, large treats for about a year. Our 4 dogs love them. However, the bag says there are 36 treats (which is great, divisible by 4), but every single bag has only 35. This leaves us one treat short every single time. Very disappointing when we don't get what is advertised on the bag, considering these treats are not exactly cheap. Quality control is lacking.
