Very easy to put together, my cat used it right away, unfortunately my other cat is afraid of it, so I still have an ordinary litter box for him. (Which is not ideal). The only thing that bothers me is that the litter tray seems to leak cast litter and the second flaw for me is that my cat likes to dog and kick around the litter and it gets EVERYWHERE. I wish there was an attachment to prevent that. Otherwise, I'm so happy with it

One cat is 21 years and she acts like a kitten after she eats it. She spends time chewing the larger pieces, which is hard to find in cat foods. She always has a glowing report on her teeth! And I don't spend any time brushing her teeth. I know there's a lot of talk about grains not good for them. But the prices for "the best" is outrageous and then you have issues with how to keep their teeth clean. I recommend Meow Mix. My cats get good reports from Vets, which says a lot.

I feed this mainly to my rescue and feral cat colonies that I care for because it provides good value for the money and in rescue, every penny gets squeezed till it screams to make it stretch as far as possible. At least I know the cats have food and water outdoors and sometimes even the raccoons will come by to finish it off. I am glad to have this as a resource to feed as many feral cats as I possibly can. Their lives are tough enough and at least they don't have to worry about food with this product!

I rescued her as a kitten 43 years ago . I presently have a 20 year old cat and a 19 year old cat who have never eaten any other food. I have tried buying the healthier food but they want no parts of it. Meow Mix couldn't be that unhealthy if my cats live as long as they do. I will not be buying anything else

I thought I was ordering a different flavor (the mix up was due to the other flavor not being available in the same quantity, and I didn't realize I was ordering something else). We had two cats and one recently passed away - that cat would only eat the other flavor. I am happy to report the surviving pet seems to like the "Original Choice" just as well - and we all know how picky some cats can be when it comes to food. The mix up has resulted in a new choice that I would not have discovered otherwise.
