Martin's Permethrin 10% Insecticide may be used both indoors and outdoors. It is suitable for topical use on large animals such as cattle (including lactating dairy cows), horses, swine, poultry, sheep and dogs.

This product works awesome and doesn't have petroleum distillates in it to make it reek like many other brands. It's the best in class offering for permethrin. That said. I have seen questions about using this on cats with an answer that it is formulated for farm animals and livestock. That not clear enough of an answer. The answer is that Permethrin is extremely poisonous to cats - and often fatal. Do not use on or around cars and remember that the residue from this spray can remain on surfaces up to 21 days. Keep your kitties healthy!

I use this on my horses in the evening when the sun is going down. The flies & no see ums really come out at that time. My vet recommended this brand saying it had the most permethrin you could safely use. Don't waste your money on the pre-mixed products with their false claims! I mix it with a natural fly spray & it really seems to work. Here in FL we have a much longer fly season too. This mix with water concentrate lasts a lot longer than pre-mixed bottles. A real $ saver!

I have used this product before. This water based product is virtually odorless and will kill the screw worm flies after they touch the application area with their feet whether it's wet or dry. It has a residual effect for 10+ days but does need to be mixed up fresh with every application. I've been using an essential oil repellent that has worked really well for my animals, but it will NOT repel/kill screw flies so I wanted to have this permethrin on hand should the screw worm invasion makes it to my area of the country.

This does not have the smell that the 13.3% Permethrin has, but measuring out the correct amount of chemical is not as easy as the squeeze method on the 8 oz martin's
