Mammoth Cottonblend 5 Knot Dog Rope Toy, Color Varies, X-Large

This 5 knot rope is very sturdy- well made- the length is listed in the size but not the width- it is thick- too thick for our Lab. The knots are 10 inches diameter and the rope itself is a bit over 4 inches diameter. (pics attached) I called to return it- however, the nice surprise was that Chewy did not require me to return it for a refund- they suggested I donate it to a dog shelter- which is what I will do- Great customer service and loved the donate suggestion!

My 80+ lb pitbull has gone through all kinds of toys: plush, balls, ropes, squeaks, firehose toys, and even other ropes-- nothing can compare. He shreds everything so fast. The next runner up to these ropes is a plain tennis ball (the kind you would play tennis with, which are more durable). But even those will only last a few days before he's ripped all the fuzz off. The first thing I noticed was how big this rope was, which I wasn't expecting. He couldn't even pick up the first one I got him when he was a puppy! Just a few weeks later, he was whipping it around all over the place. And they last a long time. The only reason I get a new one is that the old one becomes a little ratty after months of being chewed and flung all over creation. Even with all the abuse, I throw it in the wash every now and again and I haven't seen any "shedding" as some other rope toys do. My boy loves it and it survives his powerful jaws. I'm happy with my purchase and will continue buying 1 - 2 a year for the forseeable future.

My dog Rin absolutely loves tug more than anything. She has gone through several toys and ropes so I searched for the best possible tug toy I could find at a decent price and this was it. It took her a month to tear one side of the tug toy (because I let her chew on it, if I confiscate it after tug i'm sure it would still be in one piece). We've had this for 4 months and we still use it, I just grip the torn up side and let her have the side that's still together. This has held up better than any tug toy even with her chewing on it. Those of us with dogs who destroy everything know that if a tug toy even lasts a month, it's a pretty good deal so I would def. recommend this and it's at such a good price too. Will be buying again when it's completely torn up.

We have had this XL rope toy for nearly four months and it gets daily, and heavy, use and abuse from my Lab puppy. He loves to bring it to you and play an aggressive game of tug. He loves to stretch out on the floor with it, chewing it for an hour. He loves to pick it up and whip it around as he plays "shake." Note: when he whips this and it hits your shins/feet, OUCH. It is heavy duty. Aside from losing a lot of strings due to his power chewing and shredding, it has held up really well and he hasn't been able to chew it in half. When it becomes too frayed, I will buy another one because of its durability and how much he loves it. I highly recommend this if your pup loves to chew and play tug-of-war!!
