This blend does not contain corn, it contains sunflower kernels, about 5% millet.

Where can I find the expiration date on the peanut pieces bag?

There is no expropriation date on this food, however there will be a manufacture date on the strip at the top or bottom. Its advised to use this food within 6 months after opening.

I've been buying this bird seed for a few years and my other birding friends started using it because it was excellent quality seed and there was no waste in our yards. Past several bags have been awful and even the starlings won't eat it. Pretty bad when those guys won't touch your stuff. For some reason they won't even eat the sunflower chips in this which is baffling to me. Also you can see the burnt looking pistachios or whatever they are that the birds also won't eat now. This is not cheap food, but Lyric has cheaped out like many other companies these days. Super disappointed and this last bag I bought will be my LAST bag of Lyric products. I am really sad because I would only buy Lyric seed formulas. Now I gotta go look and see if there are any companies out there who still put out quality products without increasing prices on awful quality food. At least warn people that you changed the ingredients.

This used to be a great mix and I’ve been buying it for the last four years and my birds have always devoured it. This new bag seems like the percentage of millet

This used to be a great mix and I’ve been buying it for the last four years and my birds have always devoured it. This new bag seems like the percentage of millet has gone up to about 75%. I filled the feeder this morning and normally in the course of a day they would have emptied it, but when I got home only about a quarter of the tube was empty. They have definitely voted with their beaks and I will never be buying this brand again.

Almost too good.

When I first received this bird food, I didn't have very high hopes. I noticed that there was a lot of orange nut pieces which I still have no idea what it is. But

When I first received this bird food, I didn't have very high hopes. I noticed that there was a lot of orange nut pieces which I still have no idea what it is. But I was proven wrong. The birds absolutely love this stuff. Usually the bluebirds stick to my mealworm feeder but even they were chomping down on it at the feeder. I even got a couple of red-breasted grosbeaks which are not very common in my area. But... There was a down side. It was so good that I literally had a flock of starlings eating all the food and scaring all my other birds away. The bag was literally gone in a week. But I can also say that Chewy has the lowest price on this bird food that I can find so thanks for that. I will still give this product 5 stars and look into a starling/grackle proof feeder.

The birds and squirrels love this!

The blue Jay's, cardinals, north carolina wrens, downy woodpeckers, hairy woodpeckers, mourning doves, Robin's, every type of finch, and even pileated woodpeckers love it! I hope I spelled them right. These are some of the freshest seeds you will get. I switch between already ready seeds and berries (no millet) and these. That's the only issue I have is it gets really messy underneath the porch from the shells. I don't wanna make my neighbors mad( apt complex). I will definitely buy these seeds again! You cannot beat such a huge bag and the quality for the price either. I promise your birds will love them and squirrels lol.

Pieces way too big

I purchased this bird seed because they stated that it was waste free and small pieces. Nothing small about it at all! No millet. It looked like a coarse grind

I purchased this bird seed because they stated that it was waste free and small pieces. Nothing small about it at all! No millet. It looked like a coarse grind of only nuts like granola. The feed was huge! There was no way the wild birds would be able to eat it. The big pieces clogged up my bird feeder and what did manage to come out, ended up on the ground. What fell, got all wet and puffed up. What a mess. I was constantly clearing the area under the feeder because I did not wish to attract undesirable ground feeders to my patio. After 2 days of birds not eating and me using the leaf blower to clear the uneaten food, I cleaned my feeder and changed to a perfect blend that they love and don't throw on the ground. I will never order this product again. Wish I had taken photos before I cleaned it all up thew the rest away.

I have use this bird food for several months and it was a huge hit with my bluebirds. However the last batch I got contained ALL crumbs and millet. Almost like a powder. It became a thick cake in the feeders any time it rained to here i have to go out and work it down to where the birds can reach it from the openings. My birds don’t like it nearly as much either. I will try it one more time, but if it is the same consistency, it will go back.

I’ve been feeding birds for years and have had so many more birds on my feeders throughout the day since using this mix. I now have around 6 birds or more at a time on each feeder. I’m in the South and get red-bellied woodpeckers, finches, sparrows, cardinals, painted buntings occasionally and more with this feed. And plus, my cat loves watching all of the action from inside.

I buy over 100 lbs of this product every month. In past it has been very satisfactory. Recent addition of the hulled white proso millet, has significantly added to the weight of the bag but has been for the most part rejected by the sparrows towhees, juncos, and doves that frequent our feeders (we have five). I am not happy in having to sweep this up and dispose of it - especially considering the extra cost of this "premium" feed.

I've tried at least a dozen different types of seed mixes during this past year. I just started feeding wild birds, and it turned out to be some expensive lessons with different feeders and seed mixes that the birds here actually like. This "Lyric Fine Tunes No Waste Seed Mix" has become my favorite, and the birds seem to agree. This product does not cause any of the tube feeder clogging issues I had with all of the other brands (majority of them use big peanuts & fruit pieces). Lyric Fine Tunes is nicely chopped into small pieces so both large, & small birds, gobble it up easily from any sized tube feeders I've tried. It smells very fresh, too. My wasting money on trying to find a food for all of the different types of birds in my backyard finally came to an end when I tried this product (thank goodness!).

I recommend not using FEDEX anymore. My box arrived crushed, open, thrown inside door instead of at mailbox area. I m9v3d all the boxes left at the door because 40% of tenants are in wheelchairs and it blocked the door button to automate door for them. Nothing was missing this time. Plenty of tape just box was crushed so take stayed straight across opening, not on box.
