Actually, I quit buying from Chewy for a long time because of Fedex. They had thrown my boxes in the driveway several times and left them out in the rain, which did not do me any good considering I’m72 years old and I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis. This time, however they actually put the package on the porch which I’m very happy about. Maybe if they continue to do this I can start buying my things from Chewy again which I would be happy to do as long asthe delivery works out.

Linda and My others love this, only My pocket no much, hahaha

It's a little expensive, but my birds love to peck. I think they should offer more deals. I have 16 birds, and it's very expensive to buy frequently.

Great size and value for the cost--birds LOVE them

This is a more convenient and economical sized container of Nutriberries than the small bags or the larger tubs. My one caique eats only an average amount prepared bird food a day. He loves his Nutriberries, but he also loves fruits and many table foods which is best for him.. But to ensure he gets a balanced meal at least once a day, I like to give him the Nutriberries which he really does eat enthusiastically, and WAY more so than bird seeds or pelleted bird food. So Nutriberries are an important daily part of his diet, although his diet is well supplemented and varied, so he doesn't require as many as he would if they were all he ate. Still, he used to go through just one tub often enough that it was a hassle to drive over 30 miles to get to a well stocked pet supply store. Now it isn't necessary to drive at all, to get the basic part of his daily diet, and though the cost of a box this size seems pricey, if it is kept stored in airtight containers, it will keep fresh for months and last a number of months as well, so you will not be needing to come up with over $100 for months.

I love Chewy and am generally never disappointed. Lafeber Nutriberries are a favorite treat for my Goffin’s Cockatoo. I highly recommend the Nutriberries. I order the 10 oz. bag because freshness is important to keep the nuggets from drying out and becoming crumbly. My recent Chewy order was packaged with absolutely no consideration of the contents. My 10oz bag of Nutriberries was in a box with a 20 lb. box of cat litter and a case of canned cat food. No packing materials whatsoever. The cat litter and the canned cat food survived just fine, however, the Nutriberries turned into a bag of crushed granola which my parrot will not touch. He only likes nuggets as hand treats. I just scattered the bag outside for the squirrels. I would order sensitive items separately if it wasn’t for the free shipping spending rules.

Definitely my birds’ favorite treat. I’ve tried similar treat balls of a different brand but my birds were not as enthusiastic about them. Something about Lafeber’s recipe the birds really like. Perfect size for both my green cheeks and my senegal. They love that they can hold it in one foot and munch. We do a variety of snacks throughout the day some fresh, some dried, but the beg for these.

as far as I know, there are no other 'nutriberry' type products. Every decade or so, I read about the 'horrors' of feeding seeds diet; I have always fed my parrot a mixed diet; few years ago, she was dx'd with 'atherosclerosis' and I did exactly as I was told (no seed EVER only TOPs or Harrison pellets, etc & fresh food) Now, about years later, I am told that she does need'a mix of pelleted, fresh and seed diet'- so this tells me that trends change over the decades. Nutriberries are ok a couple of times a week- use something like TOPs or Harrisons pellets as a base & feed your bird a varied diet of non or low fat stuff. I am not a vet; consult with yours, but remember-- in the space of a decade, you will be lectured about whatever you're feeding -especially if it followed the advice of the decade previous. I.E; the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I have tried a lot of treats for my Sun Conure, but Lafeber Classic Nutri-Berries are Tequila's absolute favorite! When I feed him everyday, he will wait until I have put everything in his bowls...the grain, the multi-bites, the vegetables and the Nutri-Berries, and then he dives for the Nutri-Berries! He gets highly upset if I run out, so they are always the first thing on the list now. Never, ever run out of a very loud Sun Conures favorite food!

I used to have these on auto ship because they are a favorite of all of my birds. The big tubs come so packed that everything on top was stuck together and everything under that was all broken. They are too expensive to come broken down so we have stopped buying them.

LaFeber nutriberries

My 35 year old African parrot has been eating these nutriberries most of his life. He loves them and has them as his main meal. I never could convert him to pellets

My 35 year old African parrot has been eating these nutriberries most of his life. He loves them and has them as his main meal. I never could convert him to pellets so along with vegetables and occasionally a sweet or salty treat this is what he eats. We’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old and he is still an active healthy bird. Naughty too I might add.
