Kruse's Perfection Brand 22% Protein Pellet Pigeon Food, 50-lb bag

I don’t know if it was the birds or the fact that I don’t have as many pigeons as I do doves but the doves finally got smart about the food!! So, full disclosure, for whatever reason, I thought the bag said pigeon and dove food and the fact that the birds were slow to discover it may have been my fault. The birds I feed are used to seed as well and this is a pellet type of food. The bag is HUGE. It somehow feels heavier than my dogs’ 50 pound bag of dog food.

This food has been a huge hit!! I wasn’t sure what to fully expect when getting this but the birds love it!! We have a few wild doves and other birds in the yard and all of the birds loved it!!

Kruses Perfection Brand Pigeon Food Pellets, arrived quickly. Large 50 lb pound of feed. First ingredient is corn and the birds seem to enjoy their food left out for them.

I wanted a complete feed to give alongside my home mixed seed for added vitamins and protien, I give it in a seperate container from the seed so my birds are less likely to waste by picking through the food. My pigeons who usually won't touch pelleted feed eat this one just fine, and it disappears at about the same speed as the seeds. I also haven't lost as many squeakers since adding this to my routine.
