This dog toy should not be consumed. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

What treats do you fill this with?

These puppy toys can be filled with training treats, freeze dried treats, and other hard treats or kibbles that are less that 2 inches in diameter. This toy can also be filled with peanut butter, wet food, and other goodies, and the entire tire fits into the freezer for an even greater challenge.

The Kong Ziggys fit perfectly inside the tire and she has spent hours chewing the toy and treat. It is a little big for her right now, but still keeps her occupied and chewing something appropriate. This was ordered in April 2022 when we first got our puppy. He was 8 weeks old. He will be 2 years old in March of this year. It is the ONLY toy that has made it this long, and it's his favorite! He has chewed up every other toy, even other Kong brand toys. Usually, within hours of getting a new toy it will be ruined. Not this one though! He is a Frenchie/Bully mix and can mess up some toys! So happy this one lasted this long! We have to get another one ASAP!

Great when the puppy kongs are too tough

Pippin is four months old and will chew on his puppy kongs and nylabones for a bit, but never seems satisfied. The second I gave him this tire he tore into it -

Don't believe every negative review you read.

I saw several negative reviews for this dog tire and almost didn't get one. My dog is now 2.5 yrs old. We got this when she was about 6 months old. It is still going

I saw several negative reviews for this dog tire and almost didn't get one. My dog is now 2.5 yrs old. We got this when she was about 6 months old. It is still going strong and she is not a puppy, and not easy on her toys, and gets a LOT of use out of it! She has shown she is a power chewer, and has destroyed several indestructible toys in less than 5-10 minutes, which she swallows the pieces if we don't stop her. This tire, and some other Kong toys, have outlasted all of them. I'm not saying there is no wear and tear, with teeth marks and tattered edges all over the toys, but no significant damage. Don't get me wrong, she had a tire (of inferior quality) when she was 8 weeks old, and it was bigger than her head and she could barely bring it back to me. But I taught her to fetch with it and that may be why she does not try to destroy it outright. When that tire needed replacing after only 4 months, I bought the Kong puppy tire. She squeezes it with her teeth until the hole is gone while bringing it back, a feat I had difficulty doing with one hand and I am not weak. Again, she will chew on it too, but it has held up very well and looks to have a lot more life it in. I will buy another when I need to for sure. And by the way I do not have a vested interest in the makers of Kong toys either.
