Size of Kongs

Omg! My puggle is beagle sized so I got him a medium. This is NOT suitable for his size, definitely small dog breeds. You can barely put anything in it & I'd worry

Omg! My puggle is beagle sized so I got him a medium. This is NOT suitable for his size, definitely small dog breeds. You can barely put anything in it & I'd worry he'd choke! He has separation anxiety. I am staying temporarily at my sister's with him after losing my home & she complains he whines & howls if I run out somewhere without him. So I'm literally stuck here, no freedom. I did get him calming gummies too but peanut butter in a Kong would be added comfort.

This one was claimed by Juliette, the older of my two dogs, and Kinley's mother. She and her daughter each get a Kong with peanut butter almost daily. It keeps her busy for at least 20 - 30 minutes. I toss them in the dishwater and let them soak awhile, then scrub the outside and let them dry. My girls love them!

20 minutes of freedom

Let me start by saying my Labradors are constant chewers but they do not chomp with destructive force. These have held up well. I bought 4 so I only have to stuff

Let me start by saying my Labradors are constant chewers but they do not chomp with destructive force. These have held up well. I bought 4 so I only have to stuff them twice a week. But with some frozen wet food/kibble this gives me about 20 minutes of freedom before the labys are looking for another snack. The large size is perfect for my 50# lab. We did xl for my 60# lab. I would say these are durable for continuous light use. I do think a more aggressive chomper would be able to tear this one up easily

Classic , safe and 25 minutes of peace

Spent a few more dollars for the *Extreme* version and also bought a regular large kong at the same time. Not a noticeable difference. I fill layers of pureed carrots,

Spent a few more dollars for the *Extreme* version and also bought a regular large kong at the same time. Not a noticeable difference. I fill layers of pureed carrots, pumpkin, pb and a couple training bite size treats and freeze them. BOTH dogs are crazy for them but they walk away from the Kong once they get the filling. So the Extreme, at least for my pup, is wasted but it is a bit heavier than the regular version so if your dog chews on the Kong itself, that may matter.

I got this toy because my vet recommended it for my dog. He gets anxious in his cage while I'm away at work and she said maybe I can keep him busy with a toy. It did not last. The same day I got it for him, he was able to chew his way through the toy and there were pieces in the cage.
