It's been a tradition for my dogs to have a stick treat on Christmas morning. I have two 15yrs old Shih Tzu. 2 years ago, one of my dogs got choked by a stick treat and we rushed her to the vet, and she survived. I didn't give them a stick treat last year and they were sad. I got the Kismet beef sticks for them and they really enjoyed this treat! This is not hard and not too soft. They always enjoy chewing this jerky stick. The ingredients are very healthy as well. I'm so happy that I get this and I'll try different treats of the brand!

My dog really liked these treats! He is picky, but he immediately came over and took a beef stick! I was concerned at first about him getting choked because of how easily he bit the beef stick in half, and how long and thin they are! However, he did fine with it, so it may just be me being a nervous pet parent. The beef sticks are relatively soft, and break off easily when chewed. It probably took him about minute to eat one treat! Overall since my dog loved the product, and he chewed it with no problems it seems like a pretty good dog treat.

I'm always eager to add pumpkin and flaxseed to their diets, as pumpkin is so helpful for firm stools and flaxseed is good for their coats. This is an excellent product, all the way around.

I knew this was going to be a hit when I opened the package. The aroma of roasted beef was a real treat for Copper who smelled it from across the room! He is a Labrador so the stick was a good size as a treat. They can easily be broken into smaller portions for little pups and they don’t crumble in your pocket.
