So good it even works for training treats!
When this food arrived and even before I opened it, both dogs were super interested. I rescued both (8 to 10 year old boxer hound mix and 2 to 3 year old super mix)
When this food arrived and even before I opened it, both dogs were super interested. I rescued both (8 to 10 year old boxer hound mix and 2 to 3 year old super mix) and they received wet food mixed in with dry kibble at the shelter. The younger one will eat anything, but the older one seems to enjoy either wet food or salmon oil with her kibble now - she was at the shelter for a few months, so maybe she just got accustomed to it! She will, however, eat this food dry! The trainer from the classes we attend, has always said to use part of their kibble for training to avoid the dogs gaining weight. This has never worked for the older dog previously because she would not do anything for kibble! They both will however work for this food! I had also thought that she would pick through and just find the freeze dried bits, but she seems to enjoy the more traditional kibble bits as well in this food. While the freeze dried chunks in the kibble are a little large, it does do well in one of the slow feeding balls they roll around as well. Their stomachs have had no problems with the food and their number two still look good! All in all very happy with this food!

I fed it to Taliesin, a 58 pound mix breed of Labrador and border collie, at home for one of his daily meals. He ate it with great enthusiasm and seemed to really like it. He had no issues with the food. It appears to be a well made product with quality ingredients. I would purchase.
Great for food allergy dogs
We’ve used a lot of salmon flavored food as it is one of the very few things our food allergy dog can have. As you can imagine, they are often times VERY smelly

However upon opening this bag, I was pleasantly surprised not to be immediately smacked on the face with fish smell. The only thing that turned me off was the freeze dried pieces almost looked “fuzzy”. I did a thorough check and the bag was fine, just a little worrisome at first look. The freeze dried pieces are decent size.

Finally! A food that both of my picky eaters like! We just received this food and my boys eagerly gobbled all of their lunch up. So far, 5 stars for taste (according to my fur boys). Good, clean ingredients that are beneficial for my dogs with no fillers, corn, or soy. My golden retriever also has food allergies, so fingers crossed that this food helps in that department also. I only took one star off because it’s too soon to evaluate what it does for their fur, teeth, poops, and overall health. But I’m excited about this food! It’s been a long journey of trying many different brands! Hoping this one is the one we’ve been searching for!
Fishy, but in a good way!
Oh, there’s definitely salmon in there - you can smell it easily through the bag, like fish food, but weirdly pleasant. Jasper was definitely excited to try it;

Jasper was definitely excited to try it; he smelled it as soon as I brought it in the house. The little nuggets fit well in his maze bowl and are a good size for it, so it’s not too easy for him to vacuum up! We’ve included in his diet for the last few days and he digests it normally, no issues to be had. Ingredient list checks out, too!
Lyra loves it!
We switched Lyra to Kismet last spring and it has been great! She is energetic, leaner and so excited for meal time. She can also e hear the Kismet snack bags

That being said 1 of my dogs absolutely loved it and would try and eat his portion and my other dogs portion at every feeding. My 2nd dog wasn’t as enthused with eating it. The ingredients seem very well rounded and healthy which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this food as a top contender as an A+ choice.
Kismet is Nixie’s favorite!

I like the big bits, they can easily be used as a training treat a lot with the freeze dried nugs. We’ll see how her fur does after a few weeks, I have no doubt it’ll do her good. Only downfall is it only comes in 9lb an 19lb bags and the price is a bit high considering the sizing, hence the 4/5 stars.
She is active
She was getting ear infections, smelly between her nose. I took her to the vet and he said to watch what she eats. I heard dry food is good and salmon for her skin
