Nano-E is considered palatable. It is not flavored, but it doesn’t taste or smell like much. Many horses readily accept it top-dressed or even enjoy it enough that syringing it directly in their mouth is easier than putting it in the feed.

How many IU per ml of vitamin E does this product have? I don't see that info listed.

This supplement contains 250 IU d-alpha-tocopherol (vitamind E) per mL.

We tried many things for months and months and nothing was working, someone suggested vitamin E and within a few WEEKS she was able to control her bladder once again! I know it is due to the nano e because I had stopped using it for a little bit and her issue came right back. I ordered this product and again within a couple weeks the issue was resolved. This product gave her another chance at life. I can’t recommend it enough! If you have an animal with any neurological issues and you aren’t sure what to do or try, let me tell you now to BUY IT!

neurological improvements

I was told by my vet that he had been depleted of vitamin E. and can only absorb E if it is in liquid form and not synthetic as in bagged feed. Couple months on Nano E. and we can see huge improvement in his movements. I highly recommend Nano E. for anyone dealing with similar situation.

At the same time switching them to this I also increased their Magnesium intake as well as added a B-complex to their diet. I do not know if this works alone for what I needed, but in combo with the other necessary supplements they have seemed much more comfortable and less painful.

This is a fantastic product that I highly recommend. HOWEVER, Chewy no longer provides the bottle adapter and dosing syringe necessary to dispense the product. I have been purchasing Nano-E from Chewy for over a year and when I didn’t receive the adapter and syringe with my last order, I figured it was an oversight. Customer Service told me they didn’t provide those items and that I would have to purchase them separately. This was after I contacted Kentucky Equine Research and they assured me that the dosing items should be included and they would contact Chewy. KER then sent me the missing items so I wouldn’t have to return the bottle to Chewy. I just checked with Chewy before ordering again and the answer is the same - no dosing supplies provided. So if you want to use this fantastic product, order it from somewhere else because without the bottle adapter and dosing syringe, it is basically useless.

Changed my horses life! Wish I had been using the last decade. My horse has had lyme and always not focused, low energy but then could bolt a crazy spook, always worried, trouble with left lead. Very hard to train when you don't have a willing relaxed horse. For us switching to primarily a hay diet, hay balancer, oil, oats plus Nano-E has made a winning team! He does 4ml daily at 1100+ pound warmblood. My other horse gets 1ml. Enjoy!!

Thought I would give it a try but my horse does not like it. It takes twice as much as Elevate E liquid to get the same amount of vitamin E. I cannot speak to it's effectiveness as I did not use it long enough. The Elevate E was recommended by NCSU when my horse was diagnosed with steatitus or fat necrosis, a very rare disease 4 years ago and he is still alive and doing very well! The Elevate is more expensive at first look but you do not need to use as much to get the same amount of vitamin E. I'm going back to the Elevate.

My senior horse was having some generic loss of condition and performance. His weight and muscle condition wasn't what it should be and he was showing some general body soreness and lack of energy. The vet suspected low vitamin E. We did a blood serum test and he came back at the very low end of normal. Not technically medically deficient, but clearly in need of supplemental assistance. This was one of her top two recommendations because of the high bioavalibility of a liquid natural source. After 3 months on a veterinarian advised therapeutic high dose regimen his blood serum levels have more than tripled! He's put on weight and muscle, he's much more energetic, and he seems to be experiencing less body pain. We're now lowering his daily dosage and will retest again in the spring to make sure the lower dose continues to work well to support him.

KER has developed bottles that have an opening the exact size of the syringe so that you and draw efficiently from the bottle. This bottle is wide open so you have to put the entire syringe into the bottle to draw fluid, much will be wasted in this process.
