Kaytee Peanuts In A Shell Wild Bird Food, 5-lb bag

I'm in the midst of a potentially blooming friendship with a squirrel. I would put veggies outside occasionally, and after a few times, the squirrel started bringing things in return. First, a Christmas cookie on my porch railing. Then, a random bread looking thing in an empty flower pot by the back door. Next, a whole cooked chicken leg thrown against my window and left on the the sill, which was the best gift yet and something I will mention at every opportunity. I began to feel it was time to up my gifts. I bought the squirrel a wooden lounge chair that I stock with a stick mixture of corn and sweet feed. Squirrel liked this but was upset it couldn't take the whole thing, no matter how much it shook the stick. It began to raid the bird feeders in retaliation. I adjusted the bird feeders, and I could see it's frustration. Though it was trying to steal, I still felt bad, so I purchased these peanuts. I scatter a few handfuls into the yard every couple days. Every single one is gone within a few hours, and I haven't seen Squirrel trying to raid the bird feeders since. That's a little unfortunate, as it was extremely entertaining to watch, but it's for the best. I hope this is the beginning of lasting peace in the yard and look forward to the next offering from Squirrel.
