My two boys love it. It's heavy enough that they can't push it around, so I use it by the feeding station so they don't knock the hay rack all over the place. It's a great size hideout for guinea pigs, and mine love it. However, you'd better be okay with BRIGHT MAGENTA, because that's what mine is (not brown as advertised). Luckily, my pigs don't mind and do not seem to feel emasculated. Just don't expect a natural brown, and you're fine.

cleanout pipe cover

These make the best cleanout pipe covers in the yard. I hated having the white pvc pipes sticking out in the yard. These are the just the right height to cover them

These make the best cleanout pipe covers in the yard. I hated having the white pvc pipes sticking out in the yard. These are the just the right height to cover them. They last forever too, I have had mine for years, even with the Florida sun. They just look like a sawed off tree trunk in the grass, which is better then the white pipe.

The base is wide enough and the tree is tall enough for the pigs to not be able to topple the house over or push it all around there cage, which is a huge plus, as well! So much better than pigloos!

Came in cracked

I really like this product, I’ve ordered a smaller one for my hamsters and they love it. They lay in it together all the time and burrow it into their bedding however

I really like this product, I’ve ordered a smaller one for my hamsters and they love it. They lay in it together all the time and burrow it into their bedding however they want. However, I just ordered two of these large ones for my guinea pigs and they both came in cracked. I’m aware that it was an accident, but now I’m unable to use either of them. I want to get it a higher rating but if I use these I risk my guinea pigs hurting themselves. On of them can really be considered broken that this point.

Rats love these!

I own 3 of these, one for each rat cage and they all love them. They chill inside of them and sit on top of them. Chewy also sells them for half the price they do

This hide is great quality, and I was lucky enough to receive a brown color so it really does look like a little tree trunk. It’s a very cute addition to our naturalistic

This hide is great quality, and I was lucky enough to receive a brown color so it really does look like a little tree trunk. It’s a very cute addition to our naturalistic habitat. The large is definitely big and is probably a great size for multiple guinea pigs or a chinchilla, etc. but it is big for my single hedgehog. It would probably be too small still for most adult rabbits. My hedgehog likes to be cozier than this makes him feel, but we’ll keep trying it out until we find something he likes better. I do think the small would’ve been too small for him, which is the reason I went with the large. I would say if you’re on the fence thinking that this would be great if it came in a medium size, go with another hide in a medium size. Otherwise, this is a great product!

The product itself is fine. I have a hamster and while this is very large, I was trying to offer different sized hides so he could choose. I liked that you could even use the top as almost a platform or second level. I mainly bought this for decorative purposes but was surprised to receive a green tree trunk. I have a forest-themed, natural-style cage so it is definitely going to stick out as an obviously fake tree trunk rather than being able to blend in before. I know it doesn't affect the functionality so I can't take off more than 1 star but it would have been nice to at least see that there were multiple colors available and be told that it would be random. I'm probably not going to use the hide and just give it to someone else.

Barb + Deb love this!

At first it took them a little to get used to it since they had never had any other type of hideouts, but now they will sometimes fight over it!
