Provide Kaytee Timothy Cubes freely, keeping in mind that treats should make up less than 20% of your small animal's diet. To complete the diet, feed Kaytee Forti - Diet Pro-Health or Fiesta Max daily in a separate container.

One of my bunnies goes mad for these, the other isn't too interested (she would prefer not to work for her hay...or anything else lol) It's great enrichment but definitely should be given as a treat, especially for adult buns. It is not a replacement for their regular loose hay. I will admit it is quite messy but we stick it in the litter box or a bowl (where it stays for a few minutes...) Overall, it's great. I was going to give it 4 stars for the mess, but if that is of no mind to you and you want a great treat for your bun, these are great and much better than MANY other mainstream options out there.

My guinea pigs really do enjoy these. They take them in their little beds and hide outs and enjoy chewing on them. Just be careful because today I found this nylon twine embedded in one of the cubes my guinea pig was chewing on, so I’m disappointed and saddened since I know she did chew on and consume some. I am really glad I caught it. Do keep in mind we’ve been getting these for years and this is the first time I’ve seen this occur.

What I thought was just a piece of fuzz from fleece in my guinea pigs' cage was actually about an inch of plastic string. It was almost invisible due to being completely interwined in the cube, and if I wasn't monitoring what my pig was eating so closely I wouldn't have noticed it. And while this probably isn't long enough to twist around intestines this could cause impaction. I understand that baling string is a normal part of producing hay products, but it is evidently not a normal part of a guinea pig's diet. I'll be waiting until my pig goes to the vet tomorrow (unrelated, just lucky timing) to contact Kaytee directly just in case she did eat any string.

Mouse Approved!

My mouse likes this. He likes to chew on it. It’s a good boredom relief and a good way to help his teeth stay short. I’ll buy these again.

I have given one of these cubes to my rabbit once a week for 10 years and his teeth are in great shape. My rabbit doesn't chew his toys enough, so we give him these to make sure they're getting filed down enough and he loves them! I just recently took him in for a checkup and the vet was very impressed with his teeth for his age. These are definitely a regular necessity for rabbits and guinea pigs to make sure their dental health doesn't decline, because as soon as they lose that they can't eat properly. These will assure your pets stay healthy.

My local national pet "box" stores sell this for almost $8. To find it at Chewy for less than $3?!!!! I admit, I hesitated about buying it on line. It has to be green and have an aroma. But I gambled and was thrilled it was perfect. All my house rabbits have loved these cubes, and I'm sure using these is why I've never had to trim their teeth. The two rabbits I have now demand to have a cube every night. BTW, buy the timothy cubes, not alfalfa, if your rabbits are over 2 years old. You don't want them to get fat.

I have had ongoing QA/QC problems with these Timothy Blend Cubes for a few years now. I only keep buying them because my rabbits LOVE them. But the issue is the CONSTANT DEFECTIVE BATCHES! I have photos & videos of numerous objects and issue found when I open and split up the cubes to quality control them myself - ranging from small rocks to mold to hay bale string remnants! I'm sick of complaining to the manufacturer and they do NOTHING about the problem which I've done a dozen times! So this is a warning to everyone who buys this: if your rabbit or small animal dies and they ate these cubes - do not hesitate to suspect it was due to an obstructive object in these cubes!
