Kaytee Kay Kob Bird & Small Animal Natural Bedding & Litter, 25-lb bag

We’ve been using the pine pellets that had strong orders and when wet dissolved and puffed up. Too hard to clean. Switched to Kaytee Kay Kob without knowing how wonderful this litter is! Easy to pour, no smell, clumps up and absorbs parakeet wasn’t making us so easy to clean. The large bag at a great price makes it an economically good value and less trips to the store. Highly recommend this for all bird owners.

THIS CRN COB BEDDING, WE US IT AS LITER, IS THE BEST EVER. IT ABSORBEDS WITHOUR ODDER. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS IT DOESN'T COME IN LARGER AMOUNTS. WE HAVE 4 CATS, ALL RESCUED, AND HAVE LITER PANS ON EVERY FLOOR.

Please avoid using this corn cob bedding for your pet birds. We bought this a few months ago as it was advertised as a natural bedding for small animals including birds. Come to find out, corn cob bedding is extremely toxic for birds and can harbor bacteria and cause fungal infections. This product killed two of our pet budgies within the course of a few months and has made another one of our birds extremely sick. Don’t let the bird graphic on the packaging fool you! It is not safe! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT FOR PET BIRDS!!

I use this in the bottom of my Double Yellow Headed Amazon's cage. She has a lot of feathers that tend to float and dander from new feathers no matter how many baths. This stuff is perfect! I don't use the grate in the bottom of her cage. I just lay a paper liner down and then the kay-kob. Then scoop her cage like a cat's box. It's so much easier. Then when it is ready to be dumped i roll up the kay-kob in the paper i lined the cage with. An added bonus is that that kay-kob is heavy so she can't push the tray out. So glad they carry this because this is actually not easy to get a hold of sometimes.
