I have 1 cockatiel and 3 parakeets. 2 of my parakeets are about to have babies hatch so I wanted to find items to help with extra nutrition. I bought this & every morning my cockatiel goes to town on it! I just put a small amount at the bottom of a separate dish on the outside of their cages like a treat. I know the parakeets are eating it as well because I’ve had to refill the dish in their cage already. Highly recommend, I will be buying again but seams it will last awhile. Smells very fresh like oranges!

I've been buying this grit for almost 15 years for my Diamond Doves. I've used crushed oyster shells a few times in the past but prefer this grit. I use it primarily to help aid digestion since they eat their seeds whole. I just sprinkle a tiny amount of this in the middle of their cage floor then put a small scoop of seeds next to it. One jar lasts me almost a year since I only use a little bit every other day when I clean their cages.
