A must have treat for birds who don't like fresh fruits and veggies

I highly recommend this for any bird really. I used to feed it as a treat for when I traveled with my birds, as it was easier to take with than fresh. I use it now

I highly recommend this for any bird really. I used to feed it as a treat for when I traveled with my birds, as it was easier to take with than fresh. I use it now as a way to supplement the diet of my not tame budgies, Popsicle and Sno-Cone. They both love it, and it gets fully eaten every day. I put it on top of their regular food and their "junk food" seed. (I feed them Lafaber's Nutriberries and Avi-Cake that I break up before giving it to them. They seem to like it that way). I give it to them every day and it's been a hit! It's also great if you have to travel with your feathered friend, as it doesn't need refrigeration. I took it with me and my birds (hand fed) enjoyed it as well. It's a must have item in my house.

Very healthy product

I saw this product on Chewy and remembered having had a similar product (that came in a can) for pet birds when I was growing up. I purchased it for my 6 birds -

I saw this product on Chewy and remembered having had a similar product (that came in a can) for pet birds when I was growing up. I purchased it for my 6 birds - a budgie, 2 conures, a Rose Breasted Cockatoo, a cockatiel, and a dove - because they are quite picky about eating fresh veggies. They are on pellet diets and technically get all the nutrients they need from that, but they obviously want a variety in their diet. They like apples and sometimes peaches and oranges. They prefer other treats that aren't always as healthy for them (ie cereals and wheat bread). But they absolutely refuse any kind of veggies when offered to them. At any rate, I gave a pinch of these greens to them in a small lid, and they wouldn't touch them. So, I put some on top of their pellets, and I saw them actually trying out bits and pieces of the greens. They actually seemed to like them, which was a relief for me! I'm glad to have another type of nutrious treat to offer my birds to add variety to their diets. I would definitely recommend this product to others - especially people who have picky eaters like me.
