The 13.9 liter weighs approximately 1 pound, the 27.9 liter weighs approximately 2.5 pounds, the 55.7 liter weighs approximately 6 pounds, and the 96.3 liter weighs approximately 9 pounds.

Is it 72 or 96.3 because it's said 72 l in size but the picture said 96.3?? Confusing??

Cheap & Cheerful

I've got one guinea pig. I always use the Kaytee Clean & Cozy white bedding which is great, but I find the odor lingers so I buy the apple scented and the lavender

I've got one guinea pig. I always use the Kaytee Clean & Cozy white bedding which is great, but I find the odor lingers so I buy the apple scented and the lavender scented which helps. I decided to try this product as it is a bit cheaper and it works well. Feels a bit finer than the white bedding which does not take away the effectiveness. In fact, I have now switched over to this product. I would highly recommend it.

New favorite bedding for pocket pets

PROS: super soft, TRULY dust free, large amount for price. CONS: light weight so it throws and blows around easily, gets super soggy if it's spread too thin or

PROS: super soft, TRULY dust free, large amount for price. CONS: light weight so it throws and blows around easily, gets super soggy if it's spread too thin or not cleaned often enough. I purchased this bedding because of the cost planning to use it for a rabbit who would only temporarily be inside. If we end up getting any pocket pets (hamster, hedgehog) I will definitely buy this bedding. I have used many, many kinds of small pet bedding over the years and I like this the best so far. It truly is dust free and I have not sneezed once using it. Most 'dust free' paper beddings are not dust free and leave a layer of dust on the surfaces surrounding the cage. This one does not!! Unfortunately, I will need to find something more cost effective for the bunny we have now as she is now an inside bunny permanently, with a huge 2 story rabbit hutch, that needs cleaned every other day. It would have to come in a much larger bag to work for the huge rabbit hutch we now have.

I love this stuff! One bag covers my entire cage. With 3 piggies and 2 levels, it’s a life saver. Easy to clean up, even with spot cleaning. Piggies love it better

Perfect bedding! No dust and soft unlike some bedding that can have annoyingly tivht and hard clumps. One bag lasted me half a year with weekly changes and when I bought a new bag of a different brand, I was very upset. Super sad I can't order more. I hope its back in stock soon! Here's a picture of it scattered in a fat pile because my rattio loves it so much, he broke into the bag and set up camp!

great bedding for hamsters!

i got the 42.9 L bag for my hamster, although it looks small when you get it, it expands a great amount. It was big enough for my 110 court bin to get 7+ inches

i got the 42.9 L bag for my hamster, although it looks small when you get it, it expands a great amount. It was big enough for my 110 court bin to get 7+ inches all around. It has almost no dust and i recommend this over care fresh. This bedding helps my hamster make good burrows and she enjoyed it! Will buy again next month

For me personally, I prefer Kaytee bedding over other brands. Some of the bigger name brands smell worse to me and don’t feel as comfortable. This bedding isn’t perfect (but what bedding is). It does tend to carry a little more dust from the paper than I prefer, but I have seen a lot worse. I also prefer this over wood shavings. I have more peace of mind using this. It seems to be more comfortable, smells better and I don’t have to worry about how it’s treated and such like I would have to if it were wood. I prefer bedding that hasn’t been dyed so this is a better option. This product works the best for my situation. If you have a small cage for your hamster then this bedding is probably going to get stinky pretty quickly and you’ll need to change it out a lot more to avoid that. Mine are in larger enclosures so smell isn’t an issue and this is why I like this bedding. It absorbs well and makes spot cleaning easy. I only recommend this for small rodents though. I do not see this working well for a guinea pig or anything larger than that. I find this reasonably priced. It is a bit expensive, but I like buying from Chewy because it’s slightly cheaper. Overall I recommend this product for anything smaller than a guinea pig. Thanks Chewy for wonderful customer service!

Better than expected

So I have rats, lots of them. (Boy likes girl, girl was supposed to be a guy, surprise!) That said I am always looking for a better litter with better odor control

So I have rats, lots of them. (Boy likes girl, girl was supposed to be a guy, surprise!) That said I am always looking for a better litter with better odor control and that they like. Out of everything we've tried I like this the best. No smell - for rats that's a big issue. Colored paper litter has made them sick in the past (dye scent lingered) so it's not only scented litter to look out for. Great value - I changed TWO Double Critter Nations out of one bag and have enough to do half, maybe an entire other one. Texture - this one is probably all me since mine of my rats nest in or with their litter but this stuff is soft, fluffy and fun to fluff with your fingers. Odor - it's been a week and no smell at all with the ladies, but there are 4. For the guys we have minimal 'there are small animals in here' but not bad smell. There are 11 of them and everyone uses a litter pan, for the sake of being transparent if this is a consideration. I recommend this wholeheartedly to all fuzzbutt moms and dads, as well as other small critter parents.

No more sneezing hammy!

The bedding I used previously was the Clean and Cozy in white, and I liked it fine, but I would often find small bits of plastic that was almost like what trash

The bedding I used previously was the Clean and Cozy in white, and I liked it fine, but I would often find small bits of plastic that was almost like what trash bags are made of inside of it. Also, very dusty and wasn't structurally sound for tunnels and burrows. I recently got a new ham, and I'm not sure if it was due to the paper or the aspen shavings I added for stability, but he started sneezing within a few days. I decided to scrap the whole lot and give this a try. For some reason, despite being from the same company this bedding has almost no dust, its super soft, and I haven't heard him sneeze once since I placed it in his enclosure. It still tamps down a little too easily, so I'll do some tests to see how he does with other bedding mixed in, but by itself I'm extremely happy with this bedding for my baby. 4/5 would recommend!
