The food should not be fed to peafowls. Full plume is a complete layer feed. The calcium levels are generally too high for most non-producing poultry.

So every year when my hens molt they are miserable and look awful. When I noticed egg production drop and the first few tufts of feathers I decided to try this brand for my molting girls. Let me tell you this is incredible! No bald spots! No anti social hens! And not as much bullying (when they see a hen molting the other tend to bully her because she's weak from the energy loss) Overall, my hens don't even look like they've molted because I'll see a balding spot and within a week it's gone. My hens are happy and they eat this stuff like it's going out of style (but they also prefer pellets over crumble) and I even have surprise eggs every now and then! Usually when they molt they stop laying completely until spring! I'm very VERY happy!

The rest of my flock are now starting to molt, but don't look nearly as bad as he did. And there's only been a small decline in egg production. Their yolks are dark and rich, and the food itself smells great.
