I would recommend Kalmbach feeds for your flock. My chicks all ate the food with little mess. It's formulated for chicks up to about 16 weeks, although I fed a starter feed for the first 6-8 weeks and moved to this afterward. They ate this until 16-18 weeks and then moved to Kalmbach Layer Feed. I have been happy with the health of my chickens and the egg production so I would recommend Kalmbach.

I have purchased this bag many times in the past over the last 2 years and never had this problem. I store the food inside 5 gallon sealed buckets inside a clean shed. This mold in the photo was while pouring the bag out into buckets. I know the bag didn’t get wet while I had it. Chewy refunded the bag but I’m hesitant to buy this again. I did have 1 chick die and adult hens that got into the food before I noticed have black stools but chickens are also chickens so I cannot say 100% it was the moldy foods fault.
