Bella Grace (and her mommy and daddy) have been Chewy customers for years. We absolutely am so happy we saw a commercial and became curious. When we had the opportunity to have Bella try the pork formula of JustForDogs JustFresh food, we jumped on it as we love our baby. We slowly introduced this into her prior meal with a half teaspoon, then next day a full teaspoon, and ultimately 2 teaspoons. As she is only 5 pounds, and each package must be refrigerated and consumed within 3 days, right when I open each pouch, I take 1/3 for the week, and balance 2/3 I split in half also and vacuum seal and freeze son for Bella one pouch lasts 3 weeks. She LOVES it, and she’s actually a VERY PICKY eater. This is fresh, you can clearly see each ingredient, and basically as indicated, human grade, for dog nutrition. Package indicates two options, entire package as a meal, or add to existing as a nutritional supplement, we chose the latter. Cost aside, as the quality certainly earns this price point, if we had a big dog, couldn’t afford to replace 100% with this as meals, however if in your budget, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend this in terms of quality, nutrition value, and packaging is really great as well.

I’ve tried so many different dog foods over the years, but nothing has come close to JustFresh’s Home-Cooked Pork recipe. The first time I opened it, I actually did a double take, it smells and looks like something I would make in my own kitchen. No weird odors, no mystery mush. Just real, fresh food. My dog Josie can be really picky, but with this, she gets excited the moment I grab the container from the fridge. She does this happy little dance while I’m getting her bowl ready, it’s the cutest thing. And as her owner, I feel so much better knowing exactly what she’s eating. No fillers, no junk, just honest, good ingredients. Since switching, I’ve noticed she’s more energetic, her coat is shinier, and her digestion is way more regular. Plus, the packaging makes it super easy to portion out meals. This has quickly become a must-have in our house. I’m so grateful to have found something that makes both me and Josie happy!

We are very selective when it comes to the foods we choose to give to Jiggy, our very loved, 2 year old, 6 pound yorkie. I've thoroughly researched the brand JustForDogs and this JustFresh shelf stable fresh food and I'm 100% confident in the quality and level of nutrition this food provides. Jiggy absolutely loves it too! I've tried frozen in the past and honestly it's a pain in the butt. With JustFresh, I grab a pouch out of the pantry, take what I need and put it in the fridge for another day. It does suggest to use within 3 days for optimal nutritional benefits. It conveniently ziplocks closed which I've not seen in other brands. It's packed full of high quality essential and nutritious human grade food. Jiggy loves it and I feel good giving it to him.

I love that the food is made in the USA with 100% human grade ingredients. I also love that it was developed by veterinarian nutritionist. Sadly, my picky pup did not care for it and sniffed it and walked away. The food does look very much like human food that you would eat. I wish my dog wasn’t so picky. I gave it four stars just for the quality , the ingredients and the good packaging.

I love the portioning size of the pouch. It is plenty of food for a large size dog, medium and small dog. I portioned it out into their slow feeder bowl. It comes out as a fresh “wet” food of course. The home-cooked pork recipe was jam packed with oats, carrots, kale, brown rice and potatoes. I chose to serve this as their dinner meal. Each pup seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. It smelled very fresh.

I noticed the pouches have a much more pronounced food scent when opened. Being so scent driven, I'm pretty sure this is why he loves this one so much! The pork is his current favorite flavor, but he also really likes the turkey.

For over a year, I had Velvet and Sterling on Just Food For Dogs' Pantry Fresh food, and they loved it: jumped around in anticipation of being served and never left a speck of food in their bowls. Still, when I learned about JFFD's new JustFresh, I was intrigued. I wondered if it might be even better than Pantry Fresh and if it would be possible for them to be even more enthusiastic. Well, before I took the plunge and ordered, I made another in a long line of calls to the very helpful folks at JFFD to ask about the new product. JustFresh sounded like a potential improvement in terms of nutritional benefits, so I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! Velvet, now almost six years old, and Sterling, fifteen months old, flip for this food in a way that exceeds even their excitement for the Pantry Fresh variety. These pups look fantastically fit and are full of vim and vigor, having been eating JustFresh for a month now. I order the pork; chicken; beef and turkey pouches so they have variety, and they appear to be equally thrilled with all. One thing I've noticed is that there seems to be greater consistency of moisture content in the JustFresh than there was in Pantry Fresh. Too, I prefer the smell of JustFresh ... not that I'm partaking, too. I can't say enough good about JFFD's products. I feel that the benefits in feeding my two darling pups this food are so obvious!

JustFoodForDogs' JustFresh Home-Cooked Pork recipe is a convenient and appealing topper to enhance my dog's regular kibble. The shelf-stable, resealable pouches make serving easy, and they store well in the refrigerator after opening. I'm using this as a mixer to make my dog's usual meals more enticing, and judging by how quickly he licked his bowl clean, it was a hit. I'm betting the cooked pork is the main reason for his enthusiasm; he likely sees it as a special treat. My only concern is the added salt, presumably used to enhance the flavor. Also, the relatively low protein and fat percentages mean I wouldn't feed this as a standalone meal, but it's a great option for adding some tasty novelty to his routine. Note that the stock photos are obviously styled by a professional; don't expect the actual product to look quite as picture-perfect, though my dog certainly doesn't care. The 12oz packages are perfectly sized for portioning out over three days, which aligns with the company's recommendation for freshness. Overall, I give this a big thumbs up for its simple, fresh ingredients that I feel confident about feeding my dog.

As a dog mom to a picky 12-pound Havanese, I’m always hunting for healthy food that she'll actually eat - and JustFresh Home-Cooked Pork Dog Food has been a total win. I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but after trying it, I honestly get why it costs more. The ingredients are super clean and recognizable - pork, oats, kale, carrots - basically what I’d make at home if I had the time. The food comes in super convenient resealable pouches, which is great since I don’t have a ton of fridge space. Luna went nuts for it right away, and I’ve noticed her coat looks shinier and she’s been more energetic on our walks. She used to be a grazer, but now she finishes her bowl in one go. The only downside is the smell when you first open the pouch (it’s a bit strong) but it fades fast and doesn’t bother Luna at all. All in all, I feel really good feeding this to her. It’s fresh, it’s healthy, and most importantly she loves it. Highly recommend for small dogs and picky eaters!
