I started buying this food for my neighbor's dog because she is such a sweet and gentle girl and I love surprising her with something tasty. It quickly turned into a favorite and now her boyfriend's dog gets to enjoy it too. Both dogs get so excited when the pouch opens and they finish everything right away. My neighbor usually uses it as a topper on their dry kibble and says it makes every meal more enjoyable for them. The texture looks fresh and home cooked and the ingredient quality feels very reassuring. I really appreciate that it comes in resealable packaging because it keeps the food neat and easy to store in the fridge. There are no preservatives and you can actually see that it is real food and not just a typical wet dog meal. It feels good to give them something healthy that they truly enjoy. This has definitely become my go to choice when I want to make their day a little happier.

I cannot say enough great things about the Home-Cooked Chicken Recipe! My three cocker spaniels, who can be extremely picky eaters, absolutely devoured every bite of this food. The moment I opened the 12-oz pouch, they were circling me like sharks, tails wagging and noses in the air. It was clear this was going to be a hit! Whether I serve it as a full meal or mix it in as a topper, they lick their bowls clean every single time. I’ve even noticed their coats looking shinier and their energy levels up since starting them on this. If your pup is a picky eater or you’re just looking to upgrade their nutrition, do yourself (and your dog!) a favor and try this. It’s officially a staple in our household!

I have two dogs - an Australian Shepherd who will eat just about anything and a Pomsky who’s incredibly picky. I received 7 individual packs of this food, and I have to say, I’ve never seen my Pomsky get this excited about a meal before! It’s a home-cooked chicken recipe with high-quality, human-grade ingredients. I feed both of my dogs by mixing half a cup of their regular dry food with two tablespoons of this food, and it’s been perfect. They both clean their bowls every single time! The best part is the convenience. The packs have a long shelf life up to two years before opening and don’t need refrigeration until they’re opened. Once opened, I just use them within a few days, and it’s perfect for daily feeding or travel. Also, when I opened the pack it didn't have that kinda funky chicken smell like other brands do so that was really nice If you’re looking for a healthy, easy-to-use food that even picky eaters will love, you need to try this!

I recently tried out the JustFresh Chicken dog food pouch for my two mini dachshunds. I split one pouch between the two of them since they are both under 10 lbs and they ate this right up. Didn’t upset their stomachs (poop was normal the next day) and they were super enthusiastic to have this change of pace in their food. My only complaint is that it’s kind of messy to distribute out so that it’s not all clumped together (my dogs are FAST eaters so it’s necessary to spread it out in their slow feeders so they don’t throw up from eating too fast). But this con is not enough to deduct a star so this a 5* product for me and I would buy this again and recommend to a friend.

This dog food is a game changer, and I have already placed an order for more! The portion size is large, so one pouch was enough for breakfast and dinner. It’s resealable, so it stays fresh (keep it in the fridge). I am on a budget, so I was a little concerned about price. I did receive this for free in exchange for an independent review, so we have it a try. Due to the portions, it evens out to what cheaper food was costing me per week. My dog absolutely loves it, and the ingredients are a lot healthier for him than the cheaper dog food. It smells like regular food, and you can see the chicken and veggies! I would definitely recommend!

This food is shelf stable until you open it. The dogs go nuts over it, so much so they now have slow feeders. You can see the chunks of veggies and such which is always a good sign. When I opened it it smells similar to tuna salad. I love that the bags can be resealed if you don't use it all in one go. However, I'm not sure this is a great option for larger dogs since you would need over a pack per day. This is great as a food topper for my beagle mixes, which is how I will continue to use it.

We have two dogs. One will eat almost anything and the other one is extremely picky. It use to be a struggle to get her to eat her kibble until we tried this food. We do half Just food for dogs at each meal for each dog and they love it. Both now get excited for breakfast and dinner. I also like that it comes in small cartons and that it’s nutritious. Some of the wet food we’ve tried has been too soupy or has a weird smell. This one is not soupy and the smell is tolerable and I’m someone who is very sensitive to smells.

I’ve tried so many different dog foods, but JustFresh Home-Cooked Chicken is the first one that made my pup do a happy dance at mealtime. You can actually see the real ingredients: chicken, veggies, rice; and it smells like something I could’ve made myself (in a good way). I love knowing it’s fresh and human-grade, and it gives me peace of mind that I’m feeding my dog something nutritious and clean. No mystery ingredients, no weird smells, and no upset tummy after. She’s had more energy, her coat is shinier, and let’s be honest, she practically licks the bowl clean every time. I’m honestly mad I didn’t switch sooner. If you’re picky about what your dog eats (like I am), this is 100% worth it. Total game changer.

I have been feeding just food for dogs for well over a year now I decided to try the fresh pouches, and I do not like them near little pantry fresh boxes or even frozen. The pouch is very hard to open. It’s got a serious Ziploc on it and the food inside seems dry and clumpy. It is hard get it out of the pouch. I end up having to break it apart with my fingers because it is so dry and sticky. Once I finish pouches that I have, I will not order again. I will continue to order the pantry fresh boxes. The food looks much better coming out of the boxes than that, that comes out of the pouches.
