Great food, but needs a senior option

All three of my dogs really loved this dog food. Now that we are almost through a 30lb bag their coats do seem more noticeably shiny, softer and the older ones do

All three of my dogs really loved this dog food. Now that we are almost through a 30lb bag their coats do seem more noticeably shiny, softer and the older ones do seem a little more energetic . However, my only “complaint” if you can even call it that really a critique or suggestion is that there is no senior option with glucosamine and chondroiten. The brand I usually use has a senior dog food with both and since they are 6,8 and almost 9 I like to have the extra joint support for them. Technically I could just supplement separately, but my one dog in particular is like wrestling an alligator to get her to take any form of pill so it already in a food option is a lifesaver. If there was a senior option with the glucosamine and chondroiten I would make the permanent switch to Jinx.

The Girls Love It

We switched from Purina Pro Plan Salmon & Rice to this food for our two pittie girls. They did really well on the SLOW transition and have had zero digestive issues

We switched from Purina Pro Plan Salmon & Rice to this food for our two pittie girls. They did really well on the SLOW transition and have had zero digestive issues. They like the food, their coats are softer and Uli, who is prone to the typical pitbull skin issues (AKA Frito Feet) has had no issues or flare ups. For us, this was a great option & as long as the girls like it, we will continue to buy it.

Jinx is amazing for all stages of your dogs life!

Our 11 year old adult dog, Bella loves the Atlantic Salmon, brown rice and sweet potato recipe so much. Her coat has gotten shinier and the pep is back in her step!

Our 11 year old adult dog, Bella loves the Atlantic Salmon, brown rice and sweet potato recipe so much. Her coat has gotten shinier and the pep is back in her step! Bella is back to eagerly performing her farm duties: protecting all her ducks, chickens, lambs, sheep, mini horse and mini mule from predators , running alongside the tractor. She is a true working Australian Shepherd that isn’t happy unless she is guarding and herding, She stopped itching so much. The simple, clean ingredients are best for your fur babies. We were so excited to notice that Jinx is great for all stages of life. So when our new puppy entered our life we started her out on Jinx to get her a great start to life and longevity.

A miracle worker

My border collie is so finicky about food. He was eating pro plan (we’ve done Iiams, merrick, science diet, honest kitchen) most recently as recommended by my vet but I have had to beg him to eat his whole life. He has an allergy to some processed foods. There have been times when I have had to feed him from my hand to get him to eat dinner. He was having issues with reflux and never seemed interested in any food. Until now! My baby absolutely loves this food! He gobbles it up and is excited to eat now! He is putting on weight and isn’t having any tummy or bowel issues. This food is perfect!

I ordered this healthy sounding kibble to add a bit of crunch to the food and meat that I make him. I chose to try it for another reason; I could get it in a smaller bag. He does not need a 30-40lb bag just to get a healthy one. Plus, since he only gets a little with each meal, the rest would get old. I also got in a deal. Perfect timing. Sure it's a better deal per pound the bigger you purchase but what's the benefit if it gets old. Plus, I am a senior and don't need to be lifting heavy bags. So just so you know, I researched every single ingredient listed. Especially since I couldn't pronounce some. I did not find anything weird or unnatural. So excited about that!

Charlie (10) has become a little finicky lately but absolutely loves this Jinx salmon (and chicken) dry food. I have been feeding him Ollie and/or Farmer’s Dog in the morning and Honest Kitchen freeze-dried nuggets at night but he’s been walking away from these ultra high quality (and high price-tag!) foods. I searched for replacement kibble on the website “Dog Food Advisor” and came across the Jinx Brand. They give it a 5-star rating for quality of ingredients. I have trusted that website for years for providing unbiased reviews of dog food brands. They don’t accept any money from any of the companies they review so can be totally honest in their assessments. Charlie loves Jinx and I’m happy that I’m feeding him a great quality food!

Switched from Blue buffalo which my dog did not like anymore I went to dog food analysis and Jinx based on ingredients alone is an above average dog food so I felt more confident in making this purchase. My dog loves it! He practically salivates when I get his food ready and eats it right away. I got nervous because as I was transitioning from the previous blue buffalo and I was mixing the food, he wouldn’t eat it but we can chalk that up to him really hating Blue Buffalo So far he loves it and is doing well

We switched to this food a couple months ago. The ingredients looked good, and it had a great review. We only feed it to our eleven year old lab, not to our sensitive to everything, picky rescue, he only eats prescription food,our lab is doing great on it . It seems like he is shedding less, but it could be the weather, not sure. He has a very sensitive stomach and this doesn’t seem to bother him. I’m happy with it.
