If dogs gave out "Michelin Star" awards, this food would get my dog's vote. My cattle dog mix has a sensitive stomach, so I am careful about his kibble, buying
If dogs gave out "Michelin Star" awards, this food would get my dog's vote. My cattle dog mix has a sensitive stomach, so I am careful about his kibble, buying food that contains chicken and non-allergenic fillers like the sweet potatoes & carrots in this Jinx blend. Generally he's not excited about the healthy blends and can even leave a few pieces in the bowl -- but he loves this! I knew this was a winner when Fed Ex arrived and he started circling the box in the driveway before I even got it in the house! The food is a small-to-medium sized kibble and should be good for most breeds. The protein content is suitable for all ages with probiotic support. And I am personally grateful that the chicken used is cage-free. Are there any cons? Well, I have to keep the bag locked firmly in the closet because even the cats seem to find it irresistible. Thank you, Jinx!

GI distress
We bought this dog food to try since it had good ingredients and the price was lower than our dog's usual food. After two weeks with the food she stopped eating
We bought this dog food to try since it had good ingredients and the price was lower than our dog's usual food. After two weeks with the food she stopped eating (our dog lives to eat) she could be coaxed into eating but then even that wasn't enough. Her bowel movements became more and more liquid and her energy levels plummeted we got super worried because she is a little older and never acted like this before. After some research and reading other reviews on chewy it became apparent the food might be the issue. So we swapped her to an old brand she never had issues with and after 36 hours she's back to her happy, food motivated self. Her bowel movements are still recovering but improving none the less. Our dog has a history of food sensitivity so there must be something in the chicken version that is an issue. She had the salmon flavor before the chicken without issue. I hope this helps other pet owners avoid or solve the issue if their pup is experiencing the same thing. We nearly pad for an emergency vet fearing she had developed something scary like cancer.
10 Years with Chewy, But Lately Disappointed
I received my autoship order yesterday, but the dog food I specifically needed for my upcoming trip was missing. I immediately contacted customer service and explained
I received my autoship order yesterday, but the dog food I specifically needed for my upcoming trip was missing. I immediately contacted customer service and explained to the representative that I’m leaving town on Thursday. I had placed my autoship order early to ensure my dogs’ treats and food would arrive in time for the trip. The rep assured me that the missing item would be delivered today. However, FedEx didn’t drop anything off, so I checked the order status myself only to find that it’s still being packed. I’m leaving first thing tomorrow morning, which means I’ll now have to go out and purchase another bag of food to take with me. I’ve been a loyal Chewy customer for over 10 years, but their service has noticeably declined. This is the second time I’ve experienced a similar issue, and I’m genuinely disappointed. Timely and reliable delivery used to be one of the reasons I trusted Chewy, especially when planning around travel. Unfortunately, that trust is starting to erode.
New food, no gi upset
My toothless Silky terrier gives this the paws up! He wolfed (gorged would be a better description) it down before I could even mix it with his old food. No stomach

Now he is picking out the mixed in old food and dropping it outside his bowl. I am amazed. My other dog, an elderly, blind cairn, also likes this food, as she is VERY, VERY picky and has to be hand feed. I take this as a win. She didn't suffer any gi either upset when switched over. This new food is a pleasant suprise and when we need more we will definately continue to feed it next bag.

I am very happy I discovered this Chicken, Sweet Potato & Carrot dog food from Jinx! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it has a high protein percentage, which is great for my active dogs. It is gentle on their stomachs which is great, as they sometimes have stomach issues and this has helped. I love that it includes 20+ superfoods and is grain free. I like that it has chicken, sweet potatoes and carrots which are all favorites for my dogs. I love that the package is resealable which is a huge plus for me as well. My dogs love it & we would recommend it to other dogs as well.

This is my first time introducing a grain-free meal to our puppy; he is now five months full of life. Since introducing him to these new meals, he seems calmer and much happier. The bags are a perfect size. He has had the opportunity to try this chicken, sweet potatoes, and carrots and the salmon, sweet potatoes, and carrots, as well as some treats, and he can't get enough of them. I do believe the salmon is his favorite flavor, but he gets a kick out of both very much; he didn't experience any difference in his stool or urine, which is excellent. I recommend the whole Jinx brand products

I'm really picky as to what I feed my Irish Wolfhounds. I mostly feed a raw based homemade diet. But I've found Jinx dog food never upsets the digestive Trac & I can use it in a pinch when I've had a day I couldn't put the raw diet together. Soaks up great & no gas in my beloved Wolfhounds

My senior beagle has refused to eat kibble for almost a month now. Vet check was fine, but she refused every brand, even when mixed with broth, pumpkin, yogurt, etc. The only thing she’s been eating is canned chicken, which we gave her out of desperation when she went 2 days just walking away from her food. We got out delivery of Jinx today and she gobbled up two servings! If she continues to eat it, I will switch all of our dogs over to this brand.
