Fresh Without The Fridge

Instinct FreshDried Raw Meals deliver fresh, raw nutrition in a convenient, shelf-stable format. With 3x more real meat & organs than kibble, these protein-packed scoop & serve recipes make it easy to upgrade your dog’s bowl — no freezer, thawing, or prep required. Serve as a complete and balanced meal, or use as a topper to boost nutrition and add mealtime excitement.

100% Fresh, 0% Compromise

FreshDried Raw Meals are 100% raw and never cooked; whole-food ingredients are cold-pressured to ensure safety and quality, and gently freeze-dried at peak freshness to lock in nutrients and flavor. The first ingredient in every recipe is responsibly sourced meat raised without antibiotics or added hormones, paired with non-GMO fruits and vegetables you can trust. No shortcuts and no fillers like grains or white potato — just raw food done right. FreshDried Raw Meals deliver real, whole-food nutrition in an easy to feed format.

Vet Formulated for Maximum Benefits

Thoughtfully formulated by veterinarians with your dog’s biology in mind, FreshDried Raw Meals focus on minimal processing to protect what matters most. Keeping ingredients raw helps preserve their natural nutrients and flavor, resulting in food that’s easier to digest and more appealing to dogs. The result is efficient nutrient absorption and meals that deliver both visible benefits and real enjoyment at the bowl.

Real Benefits You Can See

Raw pet food retains more antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals than cooked pet food — nutrients that are key to better health. Feeding your pet as little as 20% raw can promote improved digestion, skin and coat, sensitivity relief, healthy weight, and increased energy.

About Instinct

Instinct has been pioneering raw nutrition for pets since 2002. It all started when our founder observed how a raw, meat-based diet transformed the health of animals at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo — and set out to bring those same benefits to dogs and cats everywhere. Today, Instinct remains the raw brand leader, committed to minimally processed, real-food nutrition that helps pets thrive from the inside out.

We are introducing it very slow, one piece a day for 2 days, then 2 for 2 days. One pup picked the fish over the lamb at first but came back for the lamb after, she is the picky eater. The other pup isn't picky. They are up to eating 3 pieces, we use it as a topper mixing it in with the gravy from wet food adding in a little bit of water. Both absolutely love this. You really need to start slow with some dogs. We tried another brand and moved a little to quickly and they got the runs but cleared up when we backed down to one piece a day for 4 days then bumped it up to 2. Definitely buying this again and using it as a topper, it's a bit pricey to only feed this.

Kona is PICKY and these freeze dried pellets are easy for me to squeeze into "dust" and put over his food like a powder. HE LOVES THEM and it gets him going to eat the rest of his meal. I highly recommend them. My other dogs always get one as a treat, but they really help him take his meds and eat regularly.

This amazing food and it’s a result of no more rash and nasty poops. My dog was treated for so many different types of rashes but I finally decided to change Frankie’s food from kibble to freeze dried. Within a couple of weeks no more nasty poops and no gas. His gas was so smelly would chase me out of the room. Poops is so much easier to remove from my yard. There are different flavors but Frankie loves the Alaskan Pollock. We are excited that rash is finally gone and no vet visits for his problem. Frankie said “My mom tried it for me and I said I like it”

Read the ingredients

These contain beef. My fault for not reading the ingredients list and assuming they were made of a single protein source. Otherwise they're fine - nice sized morsels

I bought this for a tiny 6 yr old foster dog who is a very picky eater and will only eat canned food. I bought it as a supplement to her canned food meals and it works well for treats also! When you have a dog who won’t eat you just want to find something they are willing to take. She’s little and doesn’t eat much so I wanted to get something with good nutrition in every bite. All my dogs like it, so I’ll use it as a topper for them!

My dogs LOVE this food

I actually use it as rewards and treats. I’ll mix a bit in with their kibble but they think it’s treats.

I use this as a topper for my dog's kibble. it's such an easy way to add good quality food to what I already think is good quality without going full raw

Great high value snack

We use these as the epitome of training treats. Its nice because they are small enough that we can give the cat one also, but they are VERY rich and do seem to cause

We use these as the epitome of training treats. Its nice because they are small enough that we can give the cat one also, but they are VERY rich and do seem to cause our heeler some loose stools if he has more than 3 to 5 pieces. I would never be able to feed this as a whole meal. Also, they are pretty pricey, but that's okay for the high quality.
