I’ve hopped around a few different brands and formulas before finally settling on this food for my older girl. It’s a decent food that doesn’t break the bank. She loves eating it, but I will admit she isn’t typically a picky eater. I’ve noticed a boost in energy since switching her to this food and her coat looks great with minimal shedding. All around fantastic food and I would highly recommend if you have a senior dog who needs a little extra support and are perhaps on a bit of a budget.

Our vet told us that our 10 year old had some bone spurs and arthritis beginning. She had X-rays after a porcupine incident so our vet recommended looking for a senior dog for that would give her and our other big dog the nutrients that would help keep them active as they grew older. We’ve used Iams mini chunks for a good portion of their adult lives without issue so we figured we would try Iams Senior formula. They gobble it right up and we’ve noticed our girls running around more lately. We don’t know for sure that it has anything to do with the food but it might. They lick each other’s bowls as well so we take that as a good sign. I put warm water and most times I add canned pumpkin as well. We will continue using this! I’m glad Iams has it and that Chewy carries it so it is shipped right to our door!

My dogs have always been on Science Diet, however, I recently retired & could no longer afford to pay $95 for a 25LB bag of food. I needed something with high quality, but lower price. I purchased IAMS dog food & I get twice as much dog food for twenty dollars less. My doggos love the taste & I had no problem transitioning them to the new dog food. It offers a healthy dog food & is less harsh on the budget. I highly recommend.

She's VERY picky, so getting her to eat anything is a challenge. We start with a little canned cat food first thing in the morning, then around 11am, she gets her IAMS with either a little chicken or roast beef. She's been eating it all, which is a wonder in and of itself. She's an old girl, almost blind and deaf, but I wouldn't give her up for anything. Glad she enjoys the IAMS Mature Adult dog food. It's a giant bag, so I hope she doesn't change her mind!

We took forever to find a good food for him, he would either lose interest or the food was just not a good match. This food on the other hand has him acting as if he was a puppy again! He is active, alert, and just happy over all. We love his nice and shiny coat as well as his white teeth and no bad breath!

I sure wish she could answer these spam emails that I keep getting from chewy.!!Why is it that when a company sells you something they think it is OK to just repeatedly send you spam almost every day? so I bought dog food from you, yes my dog loves it, but I don’t have the time or the energy or the enthusiasm to read, write answer on her behalf. Placed my first order with Chewy for my dogs regular food. It came quickly and in a appropriate box to prevent damage. Free shipping for a 40 pound bag is excellent

Free shipping for a 40 pound bag is excellent but I was thrilled to see that the food was about 10% less than the very best price I could find anywhere else. I signed up regular delivery and shouldn’t have to lug those bags around the stores any more.
