Science diet dry food

Answer by eleniJan 13, 2024
yeah

How many cups are in a 7lb bag? Thanks!

Answer by ChewyJun 22, 2018
There's approximately 14 cups of kibble in the 3.5 pound bag and 28 cups of kibble in the 7 pound bag.

Do the numbers on the feeding chart on the bag apply to every feeding for that day, or are the numbers a daily overall goal to reach? When it says 1/4 cup for example, do I give the kitten that much at each feeding, or is that much required stretched across the entire day?

Answer by ChewyMay 28, 2019
The feeding chart quantities are based off of a kitten's daily needs and represents what should be fed on a daily basis.

Is the kitten indoor dry food gluten free? Thanks

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2018
While this formula's ingredients don't contain gluten, there is a chance that the ingredients could have come in contact with gluten before being packed. For this reason, it's not guaranteed that it's gluten free.

My 3 kittens love this food. I was having an issue with their urine smelling very concentrated due to high protein content in kitten food so I wanted to switch to a very highly quality food. Making the switch to this food really helped and they love it and their urine smell has gotten much better.

When we got our kitten we immediately fed him the Kitten's Science diet and he ate it for several days, but now firmly refuses it. About that time. we discovered 2 piles of thrown-up cat cereal. We have a 5 yr. old cat who never showed any interest in the Kitten's Science Diet and who has never thrown up. Soon our kitten was eating the older cat's favorite "Open Farm" dry cat food. Currently, both cats seem extremely happy and feel well with this brand. However, I now have a full bag of Kitten's Science Diet sitting in my pantry that I don't know what to do with!

Hills is Royal Canin

My kittens prefer the RC brand to the Hill's in both wet and dry kitten food. I've stopped purchasing Hill's. Too much wasted.

Vets like it and so does my kitten

There are more affordable options for dry kitten food, but this also isn't as expensive as wet food. The ingredients are high quality and our kitten drinks enough

There are more affordable options for dry kitten food, but this also isn't as expensive as wet food. The ingredients are high quality and our kitten drinks enough water from her fountain (and our sink faucets...) that we feel comfortable feeding dry food. Our cat seems to like it and doesn't have any problems digesting it even though she seems to have a bit of a sensitive stomach when it comes to certain treats.
