Love this food since our dog started it. His weight has improved, his energy, and all around he seems better since eating this. What I don’t like with this last bag received. New Look New Shape would have been fine, but the pebbles are smaller for a large dog. With this new look the pebbles did get smaller as picture shows. Old pebbles on right, and the new pebbles on the left. You want a new look and shape that’s fine. But, don’t downsize the size like I just received. It’s now more fit for a small to medium dog, but not ours.
Astonished at how much he LOVES this food

So we’ve cut out treats completely, but didn’t want to change his life too much so we kept him on the appropriate cups of his food at the time since he always liked that food. I took him back to the vet to see that he only lost a pound. So, I was researching new foods and I came upon Hills Science Diet. I was worried he wouldn’t like it because as humans, diet food isn’t great, so I assumed it could be the same for pups. I was wrong. HE LOVES HIS NEW FOOD. So much so, that after I gave him a tester cup he went back to the bag and barked at it for more.
NEW formula Perfect Weight
I received a bag of the "new" formula in my auto ship and the kibble is so ridiculously small, (pieces smaller than the Hill's cat food), that my medium sized,
I received a bag of the "new" formula in my auto ship and the kibble is so ridiculously small, (pieces smaller than the Hill's cat food), that my medium sized, 50 lb dog just swallowed it causing her to cough it up several times. For $85 a bag, I would expect at least to be notified of change before it's shipped. I'm hoping the reason it is "currently unavailable" is because they are switching back to a suitable sized kibble for medium sized dogs since the "large breed" formula is not good for her either.
Kibble size changed without acknowledgment

My dog is over 100 lbs; the prior kibble’s size was the right size for her. Today I just opened the new shipment and was surprised to see the new kibble size. I double checked the bag and my auto ship and then read the reviews. I found out other customers also stated the company changed the kibble size to SMALL breed dogs. Even though I was afraid to give them to my dog, but I already finished prior bag, so I did give them to her. Meanwhile it seemed okay to mix with the last half cup of old kibbles. I hope she would be okay to eat the whole new kibbles tonight. It would be nice to know ahead of time with a switch so that we can make the decision whether or not we need to change food.
Sheba loves it

I rescued Sheba in mid-June she was 84 pounds, supposed to be around 60. This was the first and only food I purchased. My vet said feed her the amount for a 60 pound dog. She is around 7 years old Shepard/Chow mix who basically waddled into the room to meet me. I stick to the recommended feeding (no exceptions) and we walk at least 4-6 times a day. I took her to the vet this week and she’s down to 73 pounds. She doesn’t act like she’s hungry. Your food satisfies her. She has a spring in her step and is crazy about playing fetch in the private dog park. Your food certainly has helped to get her in the road to healthy. Thank you.

Our four year old Lab had gained so much weight! She was pushing 91 pounds and our vet wanted us to severely restrict her food portions to help get her back to a more healthy weight. We opted to try Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight since she seemed to like the HIlls food she was already eating. In 7 weeks, she has lost 9 pounds and doesn't seem to feel deprived at all! With the lower calorie count, she can have the same amount of food she was eating before but is consuming less. We are thrilled and our Lab is happy!

Love the food, love autoship, and love Chewy, but I had to share this story. I recently received a delivery and noticed a small hole torn in the bag of dog food. No problem, I put a piece of tape over it and since the storage container was full, I placed the extra bag in the closet. I’m currently waiting to have spinal fusion surgery in week or so and I’ve been taking pretty strong pain meds. Several times during the night I woke up and I thought I saw my cat holding a mouse but by the time I could get out the recliner, they both would be gone. This went on for nearly a week! I finally convinced myself it was a toy mouse, as I’ve lived here for 20 years and have never seems mouse. Finally my cat Max delivered the mouse to me in daylight and I was able to sweep him out the door, alive and well. Max has never had more fun and he sends his thanks for the bonus included in the dog food!

I adopted Sophie about 10 months ago (she is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees) and, at first, she wouldn't eat almost anything (she came from a tough situation) but then I started mixing the Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight canned food into her dry food and she thinks this is great stuff!! In fact, I had to switch the dry food to the dry formula of this same Perfect Weight because she has blossomed up to 104 lbs and her vet says she needs to be under 100 so we have to reduce the calorie intake. This combination works perfectly and she looks forward to breakfast and dinner time.

I knew it had to be done and was looking for a more reasonable priced alternative so I was told Hill’s Science Diet was a good brand. My dog has not had a hard time adjusting to the new food and in about three weeks has already started to lose weight, we are also walking more now that the weather has changed. So reasonable priced and beagle approved. If your dog is told to lose weight, why not give Hill’s Science Diet a try.
