AMAZING FOR BERNADOODLE BIGSBY!

I got my Bernadoodle puppy when he was 8 weeks old. Breeder told me to feed Chicken and brown rice recipe for large breed puppies. I was feeding him the BLUE

I got my Bernadoodle puppy when he was 8 weeks old. Breeder told me to feed Chicken and brown rice recipe for large breed puppies. I was feeding him the BLUE brand. His poop was constantly RUNNY and he looked thin to me. Also didn’t really have puppy energy. On his first vet visit I was informed he was at least 10 pounds underweight and to switch to this brand of food. I learned that a lot of doodles are allergic to chicken. I felt horrible! I immediately went to pet store and bought a small bag to start him on until Chewy delivery arrived. It took about two days and his poop was normal and his energy level increased immensely. On his next vet visit a month later he had gained 10+ pounds and vet said he was on perfect track as far as weight and health. I just put the recommended amount in his bowl every morning and let him free feed during the day. By about 7 at night the bowl is empty. I would definitely recommend this food. Will absolutely switch him to the adult formula when he is of the appropriate age. He is now 4 months old and weighs 41 pounds. I think I am creating a monster!!!!!

I have my Chewy who is very very picky, he eats it plain. That in itself is a miracle. My two rotties, Menace and Zena also eat it. So now I just order this instead

Winston is very big- 140lbs and 4 yrs old. I want food that’s tailored to his size to support not just his general nutritional needs, but that would also support his bones and joints. Was hoping for a giant breed food, or even a giant breed senior dog food from Science Diet, but this is as close as you carry. I love this boy and want to give him the best shot at a healthy, pain free life. I trust Science Diet’s research and quality.

Why is it so hard to find lamb for large dogs?Anyways, my vet recommended me this brand. We used to do sensitive stomach chicken. then tada, allergic to chicken like he is everything else. So, lamb it is. We tried fish and everything it’s a NO. He loves this! Anything he likes he gets! His hair is back and his stomach problems are so much better. But I will remind everyone this brand has for large breed, so large kibble. Thank god bc other brands do not. I have a RR and they wonderful but have sensitive skin and stomach. If your dog sensitive and chicken is a no this is a go.

A+ food for Labrador!

Ned has just transitioned from the "puppy" version of Hill's lamb and rice to the adult version. As with the puppy food, this adult food is working really well

Ned has just transitioned from the "puppy" version of Hill's lamb and rice to the adult version. As with the puppy food, this adult food is working really well for him. He loves to eat it and hasn't had any belly issues with it. His coat and teeth look good and he's maintaining a healthy weight. The kibble pieces are a good size and he actually chews his food rather than being able to inhale it. The vet is happy about him still being on Hill's and I'm happy that my pup is getting high quality food and nutrients! Also love the Velcro seal on the bag and Chewy's consistently awesome customer service!

Changed formula causing indigestion

My standard poodle has been eating HSD Lamb and Brown Rice formula for about 2 years now on the advice from his vet. He has always loved the food, and he enjoys very good health. We just started feeding him from the latest shipment this week and the reformulation has been hard on his body, and the change in the smell of the food has been very noticeable. The food smells very strongly and it is not a pleasant or neutral smell. I was certain there was something wrong with the food until I read about the reformulation. In addition, my dog has experienced TERRIBLE gas since switching to the new food, which is not common for him since his food and treat options are very stable and of high quality. I am likely going to continue the food for another week or so to see if his digestive issues are just and adjustment thing (I wish I had known earlier as I would have mixed the foods to avoid any stomach upset), but I might end up just switching to another food due to the smell. Since the food only comes in 30lb bags, I'll have more than enough to gradually switch him over to a new food, if need be.

Our 80lbs lab/pit mix and 70lbs Akita mix love this food. We had been feeding Blue Buffalo but it was really upsetting our lab/pit mix's stomach. Did some reach and discovered Blue Buffalo is a joke that puts a lot into marketing to get people to by their subpar food. Would recommend this food for anyone who wants a healthy, happy dog and understands the importance of not feeding dogs junk.
