CHEWY Provides The Best Customer Service

A couple of weeks ago I provided a not so good rating on the Science Diet Perfect Weight Dry Dog Foo, as it made my dogs paws itchy. I switched him back to the regular Science Diet recipe which the itching stopped. Fast forward a couple of weeks later I received a email from CHEWY informing me of a refund. Yes, CHEWY refunded the full amount of purchased and asked that I donate unused bag to a rescue. They even provided me a donation receipt. I do not intend to donate the food, fearing that it may cause other dogs itchy paws. Anyway, This review is just to give a HUGE shout out to CHEWY for once again exceeding my expectations and going above and beyond. Their customer service is impeccable and they truly care about our furry kids and their families. With this treatment, I am a customer for life. So happy to see that customer service is back in style!!!! Thank you Team Chewy, God Bless you ALL :)

I have a 1 year old pup that has been SO PICKY from day one. She is a rescue pup that was abandoned prior to me finding her so I didn’t know what she had been fed
I have a 1 year old pup that has been SO PICKY from day one. She is a rescue pup that was abandoned prior to me finding her so I didn’t know what she had been fed but I suspect she ate a lot of table food because from day one, she was super picky with ANY kibble I’d get. When I took her to puppy training school she was the only picky puppy who wouldn’t respond to treats. The last food I tried for her was according to the feed and pet stores top of the line. It couldn’t get any better than that one, but to my surprise, my pup was excited only the first day and after that she could go a whole day without eating, and she would just touch her bowl 1-if I sprinkled cheese on top or 2-if she was super super hungry. After getting Hills Science Diet, she seemed really excited from the moment I opened the bag. I gave her half of her bowl of this food and half of her top of the line food and she immediately ate the HSD food within minutes and left the other one untouched. I figured the real test would be day 2 as she always eats the new food on day one but quickly loses interest after that. Today is the end of day 2 and I’m happy to announce that this morning she ate her entire serving as soon as I put the bowl down without any cheese or other enticements. Her evening serving went the same way, as soon as I offered it to her she ate the entire serving licking the bowl. I am so happy that I finally found a food that she LOVES and I love that I can do rotations if she starts getting bored. I didn’t even do a slow transition and the change of food did not upset her tummy whatsoever. Lastly, my pocket book is also happy as the same size bag will cost me $26 less than the other food she was on that she didn’t care for!

He absolutely loves the taste, and we’ve noticed a fantastic improvement in his overall health in the short time we’ve had him. His poop schedule is regular, and we've had no issues with throwing up. Plus, the kibble size is just right for him. Best of all, the price is very reasonable compared to other brands we've tried. Highly recommend this food for any dog owner!

We’re investing in our dog’s nutrition from day 1 and we’ll be buying more. Coat is wonderful soft and shiny and weight control is easy with this food. 5/5 stars.

My two year old was given this at the shelter, NYCACC. They got it for free thanks to Science Diet's generosity, but I was skeptical of it because I heard bad things
My two year old was given this at the shelter, NYCACC. They got it for free thanks to Science Diet's generosity, but I was skeptical of it because I heard bad things about kibble with grains in it. But the stools look good and keeps my dog healthy and active, so I've stuck with it. I've been getting 5 lb bags because my oxidation concerns are somewhat alleviated by knowing the bag won't be open for too long... Though you may want to go bigger if you have a larger dog than my 58 lb boroughbred (mutt: Pitt; boxer; who knows what else), or if you have more dogs. I've gotten one package that was lighter in color than all the rest. This was a little disturbing, but it smelled fine and doggo didn't seem to mind. I hope my future autoships are more consistent in quality.

No notice on formula change

I have a dog who is prone to seizures. I have been feeding him this brand for years and he takes a low doze seizure medication. This last bag he displayed all the signs of trouble brewing. Nose in the air come feeding time. When he did eat, he threw it up. Ate grass and threw up some more. Energy level low. He ended up having a seizure. Never thinking that it was the food, I just cut back the amount of food. And tried again. Same thing. Looked on line for a recall - nothing. Checked some more and found that they changed the formula. They didn't let the consumer know. Which means they didn't tell Chewy. Hills Science Diet - You could new and improve yourself by staying connected with the customer or you will new and improve yourself right off the shelf.

This is what they were feeding my new dog at the shelter and they suggested I stick with it or continue to use it, reducing it gradually if I decided to switch him to something else. He really enjoys it and he seems very healthy, so I suspect I'll stick with it unless the Vet sees a reason to change to something else. He gets very excited when he hears the bag open, then wolfs it down quickly when it's placed in front of him. He's a mixed terrier of some kind (waiting for the DNA test to come back). I also appreciate the easy ordering and delivery. As a person with a disability, this makes my life so much easier!
