Forest is 15 years old. He still runs and plays like a puppy. This year, however, he has been eating less and less with age. I've been concerned about his weight loss and disinterest in food, which has been stressing me out. Tonight, Hill's Senior food arrived, and for the first time in MONTHS, he, without hesitation, started eating and even licked his bowl clean!! I also added cooked turkey, chicken, and some steak, like I do with all of his food I have been giving him and he normally ignores it. But finally tonight he ate all his food. This dry food is a lifesaver. I'm looking forward to my little buddy eating his food up again.

My dog can’t get enough. He is 15 and was seemed to be slowing down and losing a lot of weight. As a last resort I bought this to see if it would help. He is like a new dog! He looks so much healthier, gained all his weight back and is harassing us daily for his food. Thank you Science Diet for saving our dog!

My picky eater loves this food and we have had the best poos. She only poos once a day: unlike the cheap food which she is constantly hungry and having two, three poops a day. She also doesn’t have the icky dog smell like you get from cheap food, no bad breath or the yeasty skin smells either. Because she eats less, it ends up being more economical. The old adage applies: You get what you pay for.

Mt boyfriend's terrier is going to be 16 yo. She had a hard time going up steps and getting into her dog bed and at times her hips would give out. Searching for the perfect joint dogfood was a chore, but this one has omega 3 and joint support, and specially formulated for dogs over 11 yo. She has days she jumps up like she hasn't for several years. But just her walking on her own was a heaven send. I'm sure her road is short, but I can tell a huge difference since last year when she switched to this dry small bites dog food. I was finding teeth from her old larger sized dog food, we tried soft dog food but the ones we tried made her stomach upset. I have told a couple people about it for older dogs. I know we don't have much time left with her so the cost is worth it.

This was suggested by the Chewy Specislist that took my call when I was almost in tears not being able to find my dogs food and him having gone days without eating any of the 5 other brands i tried. She somehow found one close to the makeup of his royal canin blend and suggested it. I was skeptical because I wasn't familiar with the brand. She then offeted a $5 discount to get me to try it. When it arrived he just played with the kernals. Then miraculously thank God he ate the whole bowl. So happy my baby is eating again.

Finally a food I don't have to fight my dog to eat!

I may not be super happy with the ingredients but at this point, I just need something my dad's chihuahua (I inherited him when my dad passed in 2021) would eat

I may not be super happy with the ingredients but at this point, I just need something my dad's chihuahua (I inherited him when my dad passed in 2021) would eat regularly. After trying many MANY different foods I bought this out of desperation and he did not hesitate to eat it. He has gained weight finally, his eyes and ears are finally gunk free and he has so much energy! I love this food for him!

Incorrect labeling

Please note that I rated this recipe without my dog eating any. I gave it 4* because it had all the ingredients I wanted and looked like a great food for my 13 year

Please note that I rated this recipe without my dog eating any. I gave it 4* because it had all the ingredients I wanted and looked like a great food for my 13 year old, 29lb pup and I was excited to transition him to it. However the description here (as of July 6,2023) gives feeding guidelines for 30lb dogs but all over the bag it says it's for dogs up to 25lbs. For some that might not be a big deal but unfortunately, for my pup, I'm not taking the risk at his age. This left me in a bind to have to rush out locally to buy another small bag of his current food while I research another food to transition him to.
