Groundbreaking Nutrition for Sensitive Dogs

Dogs with skin and coat conditions or food sensitivities can benefit from Hill's Prescription Diet z/d and d/d foods. Prescription Diet d/d has limited ingredient nutrition and a single intact animal protein. The Prescription Diet z/d food features a highly hydrolyzed protein and a single carbohydrate source to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. Hill's Prescription Diet

I just wanted to share how much Hill’s Prescription Diet has helped my dog, Millie. Before switching, she struggled with eating consistently and staying stable. Since starting Hill’s Prescription Diet, she’s been eating well, maintaining her balance, and overall seems happier and healthier. Mealtimes are no longer a challenge, and I feel confident knowing she’s getting the nutrition she needs.

Good Solution

Our dog is 13 years old and has had quite a few health problems pop up from low thyroid to dilated cardiomyopathy to elevated liver enzymes. His whole life he had food allergies and skin sensitivities. We worked with a veterinary nutritionist and originally selected a Purina product due to lower cost and lower sodium content. However, Purina had a meal moth infestation in their kibble that started in 2024 and finally made it's way to us. This was the competing option, and we are about half way through switching the food. It seems as though Sampson's stomach is handling the Hill's product much better than the Purina product - less tummy grumbling and gas. While we are still new to the product, it seems like it's really benefitting our pup.

Poor Communication

I’ve had my dog on Hills Perscription Z/D for 10 years due to stomach issues. They recently changed the ingredients and when I called Chewy confirmed this and refunded

I’ve had my dog on Hills Perscription Z/D for 10 years due to stomach issues. They recently changed the ingredients and when I called Chewy confirmed this and refunded my last purchase. However where’s the communication noting the change to the food? I would have avoided making my dog sick with some better communication and information.
