Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar for Cats, 1 Collar (7-mos. supply), Purple

THIS HAPPENED ONLY AFTER 3 DAYS OF CAT AND ONLY 1 MONTH OF MY 3 DOGS WEARING THIS! This product for the cat and the 22 inch neck size one for my dog cody and 2 senior foster dogs. This is NOT Chewy’s fault! This is entirely the company Heartz’ fault! My cat Hades got severe hair loss and a singing smell. My Hades started jumping insanely and throwing himself against the wall. I was terrified and seriously concerned and picked him up. It looked like he was possessed. When I picked him up he smelled like chemicals, which he wouldn’t have been able to get to in my house. I removed the collar to discovered that in 3 DAYS his hair was singed off, he smelled like chemicals, his skin was irritated, and he was obviously in pain. When I soaked some towels in warm water to press against his neck, he calmed down. When I tried dipping the warm rag back in the warm water, it bubbled and turned white as if he had acid around his neck. The same product but for dogs (I will leave an identical report there) singed both my foster dogs’ hair off and burned then after 1 month. My dog Cody had SERIOUS chemical burns on his neck, severe irritation, and MASSIVE hair loss after 1 month of wearing it or so. Cody’s hair around where it was but not directly under it turned completely blonde after being dark brown just before. Never use this! You should have seen how my animals yelped and screamed when I touched their necks to remove the collar and when I did the first few rounds of warm water treatments right after removing it. Cody’s hair loss is so severe that it seems like this collar had shed its chemicals deep under their skin.
