Is it ok that my dog is eating the outside of the bone as well as the middle ??

This item is only partially edible. The outside is a hard nylon shell while the inside has a bacon flavored edible center.

Very difficult to open, then realized it contains Sorbitol

It is rare I don’t research a product before buying, but I saw these dental cleaning chew toys and decided to try them. I didn’t realize it had an edible center

It is rare I don’t research a product before buying, but I saw these dental cleaning chew toys and decided to try them. I didn’t realize it had an edible center which was my mistake. However, after spending a long time tearing through the plastic and paper which left shreds, I realized the second ingredient is sorbitol which is toxic to dogs. I doubt there is a toxic amount, but why put it in there at all? I had to take them away from my dogs after I had already let them start chewing on them. Some of my dogs’ favorite toys are from Hartz, so I was disappointed about this one.

My 3 Shiba Inu’s played with these bones for 15 minutes and I had to take them away from them because they were eating the plastic to get to the treat. Not a good

My 3 Shiba Inu’s played with these bones for 15 minutes and I had to take them away from them because they were eating the plastic to get to the treat. Not a good chew in my opinion. Two of the three vomited the plastic up the next day. Won’t buy this product again.

Dangerous for aggressive chewers

I got this for our 9 month lab puppy and her big brother after her spay. Within half an hour I noticed both dogs had pieces of plastic all over floor near them

I got this for our 9 month lab puppy and her big brother after her spay. Within half an hour I noticed both dogs had pieces of plastic all over floor near them. Both doga violently vomited during the night, disgorging chunks of plastic. Do NOT buy if your dog is an aggressive chewer.

My dogs absolutely love these. If I need some “quiet time”, these are the answer. They have also really helped my older dogs plaque ALOT.

Our two doodles love these. And us dog parents get a few minutes of quiet time. They do need to be supervised closely, so I check them every 10 minutes or so, so

Our two doodles love these. And us dog parents get a few minutes of quiet time. They do need to be supervised closely, so I check them every 10 minutes or so, so they are not eating the plastic. I do take them away after like 20 minutes and save some for later. After struggling to open the package, I discovered, if you cut a cut in the plastic near the bottom of the bone, then you can insert you scissor and cut all the way up and easily remove the bone from the packaging.

Dog Chewing Plastic

The chew is made with a hard plastic on the outside and my dog is a hard chewer. Within minutes I noticed my dog chewing the plastic as much as the inner treat

The chew is made with a hard plastic on the outside and my dog is a hard chewer. Within minutes I noticed my dog chewing the plastic as much as the inner treat. I did not want my dog consuming the plastic so I threw it away. Would not recommend for any hard chewing dogs

DO NOT BUY

Nylon shell is not edible but dogs can chew it and swallow it. I have a small Golden Doodle and she had almost half gone in no tome. Was up all night throwing up

Dangerous Treat for Superchewers!

I got this for my dog for Christmas. She is a super chewer and i was hoping to find a longer lasting treat. The plastic around the chew broke down way too easy and

I got this for my dog for Christmas. She is a super chewer and i was hoping to find a longer lasting treat. The plastic around the chew broke down way too easy and cut her before she really even chewed much on the treat so I just threw the whole thing out. I definitely will not be buying this one again. This treat might be fine for dogs that aren't as aggressive of chewers but watch them closely so they don't get hurt. My poor girl lasted only a few minutes before the plastic failed.

Worried about How much Plastic my dogs swallow

My 4 Dogs LOVE these but the are swallowing the plastic too. So far it passes through but i Worried about that not happening at some point so I dont buy them anymore
