Grear quality, excellent product. Our birds choose this over all the other top brands of pellets and mixes. Feeding our malnourished rescue parrots Tropimix was the only way to get them to eat pellets and thus get the balanced nutrition they desperately needed. They LOVE the pellets in this mix along with the fun variety of other goodies. Our birds literally stuff themselves on this mix. We've never seen them with such full crops on any other parrot food mix or pellets. So nice to see the enthusiasm over feeding time. It's wonderful to finally settle on a product that is not only healthy and of high quality, but is completely enjoyed by our picky little eaters. Along with a variety of fresh veg and foods, Tropimix is the way to go for healthy, happy feathered family members.

I have three birds i rescued. A cockatoo, macaw and African gray. All three were on a seed diet when i adopted them. I have switched them to tropimix and they love it. The dried fruit and shelled nuts are perfect for them. I was worried they wouldn't like the pellets but they eat all the food in their bowl daily. The is hardy any mess and my birds feather color is amazing!

My Sever macaw and quakers are liking this. It has taken lots of money, and heartache trying to find something healthy they like. I mix this with a seed and nut blend (no sunflower seeds). Sure there are things they pick out, but at least they are eating most of it. Still working on fresh food, uhg the frustration is real.

I have been buying this food since the late 90s. Of course it has grown more expensive and the quality is not what it was. However my bird still likes it and I haven’t found a good alternative. It used to have a lot more dried fruit and nuts. After shipping a large amount of the food is crushed into powder and I have to sift it out.

My cockatoo is the pickiest and most wastful bird I have ever seen. She's angry, she throws the food. Just showered, throws her food. Bored, throws her food. Happy throws her food. Basically, if trowing food was an Olympic sport she would win the gold every time. Except when it comes to this food. She only throws a very small amount if any. She eats everything except the banana chips. My Amazon doesn't like pellets. He's almost 50 and has always just had seeds. However, he loves this blend and will make all kinds of happy noises while eating. I highly recommend this food.

It seems that feeding our aviary has become my responsibility (wife feeds our three Danes and her fish), and she’s extremely particular about the food she chooses-which led us to Chewy in the first place-and she’s equally demanding about the birds food, as well. However, finding quality food that both species of birds will eat is a challenge, which apparently becomes my task. We’ve got two Grays and four Amazons. This is the latest attempt to find something that both will eat without throwing it out of their bowls. Pretty happy with the quality, and with them actually eating the food now, it lasts longer, and that makes me happier still.

Nothing but dust in the bag.

At least 60% crushed pellets, etc.. No nuts, fruit or anything else. Few pellets. Very expensive since parrots can’t eat dust..

good pellet nut mix ive been using a while now . for people who complain of moths. its not chewy, i seem to get them from wherever i order. if you freeze the bag like any other food item for birds it will kill the moth larvae. i freeze , let it defrost then re freeze 2 cycles. 3 kills a good 99 percent if you want to go there.

She didn’t toss it out of her dish which is a good sign, unless it is because it is so small. She liked the sunflowers, but they are very tiny. It contains very small seeds and products. I was surprised it had a picture of a bigger parrot on the packaging. Looks like nice quality product but not right for a bigger bird. She is sitting on her dish with her back turned to it.

Way to much tubular grain food. I thought that she would love the nuts she doesn't have to crack open. But my girl won't eat them either. So I picked one out of her unwanted food dish and popped it in my mouth. Omg sorry to be blunt but this food smells and tastes like perfume to me so I figure to her as well being she won't eat any of it. And my big mistake was to do what I always do and mix the 2 bags into the barrel. Now I have 40 lbs of food she just tries to pick at. She is hungry all the time now and digs through her dish throwing it out. I am so sorry I bought this product and sorryer I mixed the 2 together
