I have not been looking forward to putting my cats on a diet. One of them is the perfect weight, and then there's Lola. She went from feral to fat. She's sweet and wonderful and I'm in big trouble when I bring her to the vet because between her markings and her figure, she looks like a holstein. I opened the box and took the bags of food out. The dishes were already full of the yummy, fatty food I started feeding them a few years ago because I had an elderly cat I needed to entice to eat. Lola ripped into the bag of this food when I went downstairs for a few minutes. I'm still weaning my angels off of the old food and onto this one, but Lola is ready to make the switch full-time. Big Fatty loves this stuff, and it's good for her! I am beyond pleased.

As far as dry food for cats I was told by my vet to try to get my other cat off of dry kibble it isn’t good for kitties and it’s not part of a cats natural diet, but my kitty loves dry so I just try to put her on the best nourishing dry cat food I could find and this is the one, she loves it after mixing with her other dry she loved more.. not as good for her and giving her more wet knowing it’s better for her not better for my pocket book but this she now loves has probiotics for her digestion, even her cat box is better smelling better, my dads kitty I adopted I took after my dad passed was so sick due to her cheap dry kibble my dad was feeding her. She was sick for years. I started her on the kibble She is happier better looking, coat and health 360 Turn around so amazing what we just think is normal for this cat was from the diet, food it everything so get the best it’s not cheap but it solved a lot of health issues now and down the road pay now or pay in vet bills later

One of my cats is a very picky eater with skin allergies (the orange, named Lady) and the other has a sensitive stomach and will vomit/get diarrhea if the wind blows the wrong way (the grey, named Melog). Also, the vet said they were both getting a little tubby, whoops! They were previously eating Tiki Cat dry food before, which I believe was a little too rich for them. This Halo indoor cat food has kept their weight normal, has kept the one cat from getting her skin issues, and has not upset the other one's stomach. It's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for with this food, in my opinion.

Both of our cats are very particular about what they are willing to eat. If they do not like a food, they seem to prefer starvation over changing their preference. Due to recommendation by our vet we switched to dry food that is considered "better" as in "more healthy". We were concerned about a switch from their regular dry food choice, but to our surprise they loved this brand from the very first time we served it to them.
