Looks perfect. A complete zip-lock package of long strands of grass blades. No dust. No particulate. No fill. Virtually no odor at all. Best looking hay I have seen all year. Definitely recommend trying it if you have allergies, since it is odorless and dust free. Unfortunately, it has no smell to entice my bunnies to sniff it, taste it or eat it. They have no interest in eating it at all. However, I would give it a try because it is the best looking grass/hay I have seen all year. Perfect as the parent!

We always bought Oxbow until we tried these mini bales. Extremely high quality hay (green and fresh like it was baled yesterday), but it’s really the mini bale that have us hooked. Almost no mess or dust, so easy to serve to our buns. Love this hay. Just a bit more expensive than Kaytee, but from the one package I've gotten so far, this is very consistent good quality from start to finish. It's packed nice and compact, and very easy to remove a layer to fill up the hay rack. I find Oxbow very hard to remove from the package because they pack it so tightly, but this is packed extremely tightly while being extremely easy to remove, and without making a mess. Kaytee wafer cut hay tries to do this, but is still inconsistent in quality, and a mess. The way Hall's Hay is neatly packed also allows me to fill up the hay rack better so that I am filling it less often. Other brands are inconsistent, with lots of little dusty pieces, and/or lots of straw-like pieces. This package was full of nice grassy pieces start to finish, and the consistent quality meant my rabbits ate most of it, instead of wasting half of it to find the pieces they like. I usually purchase Timothy, not Orchard Grass, so I'm not completely comparing apples to apples here, but I just ordered a bunch more Hall's Hay including some Timothy because I am so happy with the Orchard Grass I purchased.

We're on box 2 of this and are happy to have found it. We've had 1 or 2 rabbits for 15 years now, and have struggled to find a good reliable source of hay that works for us living in an apartment where we want supplies to not take up too much space. It may not be as cost efficient as some local suppliers or buying a larger amount, but it's also not outrageously priced. We currently have 1 rabbit and give him a few big handfuls of hay each day, rather than just dumping the whole thing in at once. The compressed/compacted packaging takes up much less space (more room for binkies!) but still gives us a good amount that lasts a bit. Two boxes in, I have also found it to be less dusty than other avenues we've tried, and good quality.

I have a sanctuary of nine " special need " guinea pigs. It's been a struggle lately getting them to eat their orchard grass because of poor quality. Out of desperation I decided to try Halls Orchard Grass since other reviews were so positive. I'm happy I did. In one week they have gone thru 5 lbs. and the entire box was green, fresh smelling and best of all, no dusty waste!! The packaging is excellent. I ordered seven more 5 lb. boxes and each one is of excellent quality. I've had my sanctuary for nearly 10 years now and truthfully Halls Hay is the best Orchard Grass I've ever used. I'm so grateful that now my precious fur babies are getting the best!! Thank you Halls Hay and other customers who took the time and effort to write such positive reviews.
