No matter what, every time I order this specific product, the container is busted up! I was really hopeful this time, bc I saw the container was inside its own specific box. It was still cracked & busted. It’s not the worst thing in the world, and Chewys does replace if necessary, but, in the past, the treats have been spilled out of their busted container and all over the inside of the shipping box and is a big mess not to mention the waist that ends up thrown away. Also, the treats certainly can’t be stored inside this container or the product will go bad. I also don’t want to take the chance of plastic shards from the breakage being in the treats. And what a waste to throw out. In the end, I’m going to have to get them locally because I’m not going to wait until they out with my next auto ship. I’ve decided this is an item that has to be purchased locally. My cats do love these streets and we’ll be on their best behavior for their Greenies. Perhaps Greenie people should consider a different material as their container.

My cat loves these treats and will do tricks and puzzles to get them. She is 10 years old and her teeth are in great shape. I don't know if it is attributable to the Greenies, but I've been giving them to her since she was about two years old and don't plan on stopping! Be careful what you order with these though. They bundled these with a one gallon jug of fly spray with no kind of protection and the Greenies box arrived completely cracked with Greenies strewn everywhere.

Both my cats love greenies treats, especially these ones in chicken flavor. I buy them with pretty much every Chewy order I make. And I'm happy to see that Chewy has started putting the larger size containers (that come in a plastic tub) into their own small box! I think it helps a lot with the plastic container not breaking under the weight of canned pet food and other heavy items. I had stopped ordering this size of greenies, despite it being a better deal, because the plastic container was often cracked open during shipping but I didn't have any issues this time!

I've been buying these for several years. We bought some this year, 2025. The manufacturer evidently changed ingredients according to another review. I have reached out to the manufacturer, but haven't received a return call. I called chewey yesterday we were able to get a refund for two 21 oz containers of the oven roasted flavor. The tuna and salmon flavors are okay. We love our cat. A chewey representative said to contact our vet. We took our cat in. They said to throw them away and not to give him any more Hopefully I'll save someone a vet bill.

Oven Roasted Goodness

Did you ever read the ingredients found in cat treats other than Greenies? Maybe you should, because it's really scary. The worst brand has the first ingredient of "animal fat." Keep in mind that ingredients are listed in order of amounts. So the first ingredient is what the treat mainly consists of. Now think of all the animals that have fat that they could legitimatehy be using to make this treat. Nothing is off the table according to the label. Another treat starts with "animal parts meal." That means any animal, and any part of that animal, except the meat. Hooves, horns, eyeballs, genitals. Whatever. There are a lot of "parts" to choose from. The best of this lousy grouping lists "chicken parts meal first. Understand that means no meat or they would let you know. Greenies is the only cat treat that lists "chicken meal" as it's number one ingredient in all its treat products. That means real chicken is the number one ingredient in the treat. The next few ingredients in Greenies are ground wheat, brewer's rice, poultry fat, oat fiber, natural flavor and ground flaxseed, plus more. Your cat relies on you to make the right decision about what to feed them. Treats other than Greenies are not fit to be consumed. They add zero nutrition and give your baby's body a lot of trash to digest and eliminate with no benefit to the cat. Better no treat at all if it isn't Greenies. Enough said!

This was shipped with 4 large packs of wet cat food and was jammed into the side of the box. It seems it was packed so tight that the cat food boxes caves in the side of the greenies container. This is not the first time the package has come damaged. We thought after our last order that someone had complained or realized this was happening because great care was taken when packaging it.... but that was out the window this time.

I've been buying Greenies for my cats for a long time now, and they love them. But it is a special treat for my kitty with cancer, she has inoperable tumors on her face and neck and our fear is that her windpipe will be compromised...or that she will stop being able to eat and drink. Well, she has outlived the vets timeline and she is still eating her wet cat food and these crunchy treats. Yes, I have to break them in half now but Topsy begs for them, and purrs and scratches her post and plays...without those lumps you would never know something was amiss. My happy and seemingly healthy cat just got lots more of these treats (all varieties, but loves these chicken ones which are new) because I think as long as I keep her in treats, she will stick around and continue to be the happy, sweet kitty she has always been.

I won’t bother to order treats from Chewy again. I understand that shipping the plastic container of treats with a bag of litter might be risky but the container was completely ripped and the treats were all over the box. Perhaps you should think about using bubble wrap to protect the plastic container.

Fran is 18 years old. Never one issue with her teeth. Also Gracie is 18 and the same. Both kitties did so well on these treats. Unfortunately this is our last purchase of kitty Greenies dental treats. At 18, Fran and Gracie went over the Rainbow bridge this morning. Our hearts are broken. Two of the best kitties ever. Well done both girls.

My cats seemed as though they were getting sick of the same old treats, so I thought I would try a few different ones. I have six spoiled rotten indoor cats and yesterday I tried these out for a taste test. One cat, Spot, devoured his portion. None of the others liked theirs, but no problem, Spot hoovered theirs up, so no treats were wasted. What I found humorous is that Spot only has one tooth left and these treats are supposed to be for dental issues. I don't know how he does it, but he loves dry food, too.
