About Galliprant Tablets

Osteoarthritis Pain Relief

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) helps you safely and effectively treat your dog's osteoarthritis pain in a different way. It specifically targets a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs, plus it helps reduce inflammation. Help your dog get back to leading an active and happy life with a treatment that's made just for osteoarthritis.

First of Its Kind

Galliprant® is a highly selective Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, focusing on the pain receptor associated with osteoarthritis to provide potent, targeted relief. It can be prescribed for dogs in the earliest stages of osteoarthritis and is suitable for puppies 9 months and older weighing 8 lbs and above.

Breaks the Cycle of Osteoarthritis

By reducing inflammation that restricts joint movement and relieving pain that discourages exercise, Galliprant helps keep your dog more active. Regular exercise prevents weight gain that can erode joints, and movement helps to strengthen muscles to hold joints in better alignment. These factors combine to reduce joint stress and help reduce future inflammation and pain.

Safe for Daily Use

Because osteoarthritis is a lifelong condition, the ideal treatment should be safe to use every day. Galliprant works by targeting a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs and not the enzymes that maintain kidney and liver function. *Monitoring is recommended if used long-term. See additional important safety information.

Easy To Give

Galliprant® comes in a convenient pork-flavored chewable tablet that tastes great and is easy to give by hand or in food. Giving your pup his daily pain relief medicine shouldn't cause either of you extra grief.

Indication

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) is an NSAID indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Important Safety Information

Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Monitoring is recommended if used long term. Should not be used in dogs who are allergic to grapiprant or with other anti-inflammatory drugs. The safe use of Galliprant has not been studied in dogs younger than 9 months of age and less than 8 pounds, breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs, or dogs with heart disease. The most common adverse reactions were vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite and tiredness.

About Galliprant

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) was made to target canine osteoarthritis pain and inflammation in a way that other NSAIDs don't. It works by directly blocking the key receptor associated with osteoarthritis arthritis pain and joint inflammation to provide effective relief in a daily chewable. Help break the cycle of inflammation, pain and inactivity that keeps your pup from getting out there and doing the things he loves. Galliprant is a trademark of Elanco or its affiliates. I have a senior rescue chow (Angus) with arthritis. He was barely standing, barely walking. He was eating while laying down. The Gabapentin prescribed to him made him lethargic, messed up his gut & I'm not certain it really helped with pain. After discussing options with my vet, I researched & decided to give Galliprant a try. After five days, we have noticed significant improvement in personality, energy level, alertness & there's already reduction in limping. My big old chow hasn't met me at the door when I get home for a long time. Now he's standing there, wagging his tail & "talking" to me. I'm looking forward to continued improvement. And of course CHEWY confirmed the prescription with his vet & got us this medication in 48 hours from the moment I placed the order. If you have an arthritic dog, I really do suggest researching Galliprant & trying it!

My girl is a Colby pit bull she’ll be 14yro in afew mos she was on the once mo shot but on the 11th mo she had 3 accidents in her sleep which is not my girl so off to her Dr we went and it’s a very common side effect I’m happy that’s what it was but sad the pills work but she did much better on the shot! She has her annual next wk so we’re we’ll see if she nds the pills up in mg or what but she moves as normal but I still think shot works much better! As long as she has no pain but when she does she’s on pain meds as needed! I do recommend this and it’s same price as the shot per mo. No reason to let our babies suffer when there’s help for them also! We live on small farm she sits there or up on porch guarding the 1 gate plus she likes the deer’s not the hogs only the deer

My vet put my 9&1/2 yo Lucy, a Blue staffy, on galliprant 2 years ago. She prescribed 60 mg pills and told me to break them in half and give one to her anytime she appeared to be in pain. She has arthritis badly in her back legs. She was in pain most days so I was giving her what turned out to be half of what her dose should have been and buying 10 pills for $60 constantly. Finally my vet says, "you know, You can get these online much cheaper" I was like oh that's wonderful so she tells me to check out chewy, And keep her on the 60 mg pills flat out don't cut them in half, and give them to her everyday and that I need a written prescription for them because they won't send it to chewy. I was completely blown away! My poor girl was suffering and this stupid vet had her on the right medicine but the wrong dosage to pad her pockets for almost a year and a half. Okay, okay I take my roll in that stupidity because I should have taken it upon myself to look for a cheaper place online, but you trust what your vet says about your babies. Needless to say, I now get them from chewy And yes that first script is a little bit more expensive but after that initial lump sum you can just put away the money each month to afford the next script and it does come out a whole lot cheaper because now I'm paying $2.60 a pill compared to $6 a pill! And now, my Lucy girl, runs and jumps like a puppy again... I haven't seen that in about 3 years... She gets Zoomies again, which is amazing to see and makes me laugh every single time... And you know staffy's smile and she has the biggest smile everyday. She's not in any more pain and she is a completely different girl. This is the best drug ever.

My dog Olaf (a 12 year old white lab) has severe arthritis and was a shadow of his former self. We had tried gabapentin alongside tramadol for him and the only thing it did was keep him tired all day. Finally our vet suggested Galliprant and the difference is night and day. Imagine my excitement when I’m a matter of a week he was back to his old self, prancing about, playing with our other dogs, and no longer crying in pain all day long. I was excited but worried about the long term price. Thankfully at our next appointment my veterinarian slyly recommended we check out Chewy for the prescription instead of in their big office. And would you look at that! I can get a 60 day supply on auto ship for about twenty dollars more than what a thirty day supply would cost me locally. Thank you Chewy!

We chose Galliprant for our pet despite the increased expense bc she has liver and kidney issues. Galliprant is designed to be much gentler on this things. We are giving her 50 mg but bought the 100 mg tabs and are cutting them in half. So far her mobility has improved due to less pain I’d guess, and she seems over all happy. She’d lost her “spark” before but now she seems to have found it again thanks to Galliprant.

My beautiful 13.5 year old Akita named Ginjax was a one-of-a-kind, out of this world loving, gentle but super fierce, protective, kind & smarter than any human I have ever known became fairly ill at age 12. By age 13 he was really starting to hurt but he had a zest for life, he ate all his food, patrolled the yard daily, wanted to walk & mark his territory everyday, up until the day he passed. He was not an animal but my child. The Galliprant helped him to continue to not feel so much pain & without it I do not know if Gin would have survived 13.5 years but maybe only 12 years. I am so beyond grateful I got that extra 1.5 years with him. Words can not convey the thanks to Chewy & this product. I love Chewy for really caring about ALL our fur babies. I am left a better person as I learned from Ginjax what true & courageous love really is. In shattered & very broken heart Ginjax will always stay & someday if my heart ever mends I will again be able to laugh again at all the shenanigans Ginjax pulled, all the love this great & gentle giant showed me & all of our family & friends. Again, this product really gave me & everyone Ginjax knew the extra bonding time & affection that was worth more than anything on earth that I could imagine. Thank you Chewy as you really helped with good deals too. I will forever endorse both you & Galliprant. I will always be indebted to you.

I give this vet-prescribed medicine to my elderly chihuahua. It makes a difference in her ability to walk around all day. I can’t give it to her every day because the vet said it could be bad for her liver. She trembles a lot on the days she can’t have the medicine. I’m happy with the product and the convenience of ordering it online to be delivered to my door.

Galliprant made a major difference...Max could often walk on all 4 legs (instead of hopping around on three) within days of ingesting galliprant....no signs of pain or major discomfort...and actually seems to be improving daily... I did follow the vet's instruction to keep his walks short in duration in order the lessen the inflammation..... Glad to see my older dog ( almost) back to normal!

Our baby had to have emergency surgery a few months ago. They were concerned she wouldn't make it. But she is a fighter and doing well. She had a liver bleed and has developed anemia. We cant put on just anything for her arthritis. Vet said this is our best option with liver disease. Its costly per month. But we do it because we are grateful to have her with us
